Maybe I was a bit wrong in saying that AAWY doesn't fit PP. Not only does both melody and lyrics fit perfectly with Kougami and Akane's relationship, the song does, as you said, really captures the atmosphere of season two well. Some aspects of it that is. I suppose what I miss in AAWY is not an actual link to the series. It is fitting enough. I just don't like the song as an ending. I really liked the kick Namae no nai kaibutsu gave after finishing an episode. It was the little extra that made me look even more forward to the next ep. Had an ep gotten a bit boring towards the end that song could always awaken the fire in me again. Was the ep exciting till the end, the song would be like oxygen to a lit fire - keeping it alive.
AAWY was indeed a great song for psycho pass, but for me it was too contrasting to the first ending. AWWY is, as you also said, quite depressing, and rather than lighting a fire of excitement and anticipation for the next episode, it would take the kick away from me. In a way that might have been really good - AWWY could calm me down, so I took my time to think things over, but at the same time it sort of ruined the splendid action that PP has. It's not that AWWY doesn't fit psycho pass, I would just rather have seen it as an insert song (maybe playing during the few last eps) rather than the ending.
Hello! Well, I must say I can only disagree (no worries, I actually am in love with that song so, hehe). I think even though pp had a few romantic hints during it's second half, the series generally got more serious and duller. It got more confusing, and to me it even became scary. I think All alone with you fits the very last episode very well, but for all the other eps I would have found it more fitting with a darker ending theme. But I'm glad they did make AAWY, since I absolutely adore the song, and I think it captures the little amount of romance there is in pp really well. Thanks for your feed back! :) And thanks for not dissing me, but rather voicing your opinion in a nice way (this is the sort of discussion MAL should have)! :)
Haha, thanks. I can see where you're coming from with your comments on the characterisation - and after watching ep 12 I somewhat agree. Shu's weak character seems somewhat explained through his relationship with Gai and their role reversal after Lost Christmas. And now that we know who Inori is (and what she is), her inconsistent character can be somewhat explained. I still think some of her earlier reactions in the series needed a bit of work and the scenes could have been executed more logically...but overall I'm enjoying GC, and definitely find myself excited to watch future episodes. :)

" Oh god the ED's awful! Please do something about the voice!!"
Just what is wrong with the singer's voice? are you saying it's too "high-pitched" which is why its "awful"?
