Sorry for the super late reply again...

It's Ok, I know what you mean, I study those theory too, but i forgot the name of it thou.

haha, I guess i am kind of different from you, I like manhwa drawing beacuse i like those more mature looking, small eyes type heroine instead of the big eyes type , the one that you can find in the tyical shoujo manga....

I am actually translate it from chinese .

um...I don't think reading manga is a good way to improve english.... particularly not the scan one....

I gave Otomen a try a few days ago, and i finished the first vol. I don't think i really like it thou....

Good luck for your exams!

^^"'' Hehe, I meant a break from Myanimelist.net, MAL is what I abbreviate it to. :3

Crystal_Assassin May 6, 2009 6:14 PM
MAL break I meant ^^''' Meh, I'm just not a big fan of it I suppose. I see..Hmm, didn't know that :D
Crystal_Assassin May 5, 2009 2:16 PM
Sorry ~ Been on a MAl break ~ ^^''' Hmm, I'm not a big fan of Plastic Tree quite personally, the singer's voice..I dunno, I just don't love it. ^^''

Sorry for the late reply ^__^: i ve been very very busy lately with all the packing, unpacking, and moving...It is very tiring T___T

How is your studying? and what do you study in physics this term?

I am not translating Savage garden ( the one that i am translating is Only you and Diamond life, have you read them yet?) but i set savage Garden as a group manhwa, and hope that there will be more members to read it and discuss it together with me. It is quite good so far, and the art is beautiful too! give it a try when you have time. I also upload the chs in the club, so you can download it there too.

from what you said, bokura ga ita sounds like a really sad story. I guss i might not read it then, since i don't like sad ending...
i am actually a bit confused here... does the girl who appears in the first ep die? ( i thought she is the main character.....) also, how come the main guy sleeps with his ex-girl friend's sister @0@ i mean, if he really loves his ex, then he wouldn't sleep with other woman easily, right?

I think you can try to read more books, it might help to improve your english.
rianna2008 Apr 26, 2009 4:29 PM
Hissing and Savage Garden are really good!( i am currently obessed with SG, and i actually set it as group manhwa, so if you are interested, you can download it from romance alley~)
Also, can you also give Only you a try when you have time ( i am trying to get more people to read it since it is a very good and touching story~ )
so you are going to have your exams soon, when is your exams?
I see, actually, i don't think she is raped by her boyfriend......it's more like the male lead's ex'girlfriend asks some guys to rape her....and ya, the female lead is very unlucky.
So you like realistic story? and you don't mind sad ending?

I watched the first two ep of bokura ga ita, and then i dropped it, i couldn't remeber the exact reason why i dropped it though ( may be it was boring? i am not sure ^__^;)
Is the ending sad?

Don't need to worry about it, i make grammar mistakes all the time ,and i am much older than you too!

so you like manga about music, have you ever try Venus Capriccio?( it;s not really a band, but the main characters play piano ^__^) and Youth Gone Wild?( i can't remeber if the band play rock music or not though?)
rianna2008 Apr 24, 2009 8:32 AM
Well, i guess i kind of know what you mean. Manhwa are not for everyone, and I don't really like it at the begining as well...Normally, there are a lot of flashbacks in a manhwa series, and it makes the story confusing all the time...( i guess it is a style of manhwa after all) but i kind of get used to it after a while, so i am fine with it now, and i am willing to try it if the art is good! and i have read some really good one too~ have you ever heard of Bride of the water god and Hissing? Savage Garden?

one day I was in the mood for drama (because I wanted to read something realistic)

O.0 well, um.... um...I think all the drama genre series are suppose to be dramatic and not realistic.....
But ya, i know why you picked Koizora, since i know it is based on a true story. I actually watch the movie as well, and it was OK. Wow~ I am surprise to know that there is a part where she is raped by her boyfriend, and i don't even know that she has a ex boyfriend....i guess the manga is a bit different from the manga, and they made changes to the movie and make it more realise...and make the male lead more likeable..?( the male lead in the movie was a nice guy, and i never record him raping the female lead....)

reed (is that how you conjugate read in the past tense?

um...the past tense of read is read as well ^__^
i just had a look of Nousatsu Rock Shounen's synopsis, and it sounds interesting, and i might give it a try later ^__^

Crystal_Assassin Apr 21, 2009 8:09 PM
>< Yeah I know >< It's stinky.

I know *-* But he has a better image..A more unique one at least, with his hair like so.

^__^ That's all good too ~
rianna2008 Apr 21, 2009 6:15 PM
I guess i will give Otomen a try then~

I change my mind, about the manga that i mentioned yesterday....I like Umi no Kishidan, it is a historical and gender bender read, and it is about:

"It’s the 16th century and the knights of the Mediterranean country Malta take pride in being the strongest in the world. Aciel is a beautiful lady-knight who gradually makes her way into the group of the knights, despite the fact it’s forbidden for women to be knights. Learn the tale of the magnificent knights whose charms neither friends nor foes can resist!"

but i don't like the second one, Fever, it is slice of life and drama, the ending sucks and it is not romantic at all...and the story is very confusing too -__-( it is a manhwa after all)

@0@ thanks for pointing it out!!!!!! I don't know the little girl in desire climax extra is the same person as the female lead of S.P.Y!!!!

so which one do you like more, desire climax or S.P.Y?

Crystal_Assassin Apr 19, 2009 8:09 PM
Haha, yeah we are. It's just that I'm a poor little student, and my parents don't like online shopping ~ :3

Yeah! He has nice hair <3 ^^''' Hahha, that's a nice souveneir >3
rianna2008 Apr 19, 2009 5:13 PM
I never know that otomen is being published and is licensed by Viz ( so that mean people can buy them in the US/Canada!). well, don't get me wrong, I never read this manga before, but i ve been wanting to read this series for a while now..is this manga really romantic? and how come it has gender bender as one of the genres?

I don't really have my favourite for this week, but i am currently reading Fever and Umi no Kishidan, and i like both of them so far...kind of...^__^

Desire Climax is actually one of my top favourite! and I read both Desire Climax and S.P.Y ( the reason why I read S.P.Y was beacuse i loved Desire climax, and i wanted to try out Ayane Ukyou's other work too!)

what do you mean by "remember the girl in the end that lived in a island and was the only young person there? it's about her"

you like exactly the types that i'm not really into

@0@ are you just referring to the fact that i like historical and supernatural romance...or romance/ taste in general???? I like meru puri too, i think it is a cute one ( i actually have the "actual" mangas on my bookshelf.

Art is important to me when it comes to pick a manga series , so if i come across with series that has really good art, i will try out that mangaka's other work too!
Wow~if that's the case, you can always tell me about the manga that you read, and i will happy to hear about it ^__^

My favourite manga....( I actually have a lot of favourite...) um...I guess it would be:
-red river (the best historical romance i ever read)
-vampire knight ( l like vampires! ^__^)
-Bride of the water god ( the art is very very beautiful!)
-Desire climax ( very romantic but very smutty as well)
-Kasho no Tsuki ( one that not so many people know of )

have you ever heard of any of them ( my favourite)?
