Greetings mcgraczu, I saw that you wrote a review on a Summer 2016 show.
At the Anime Guild there is a growing Reviewer Community that held it's first event for the Summer Season - https://myanimelist.net/forum/?topicid=1557888
We also choose the best Opening, Ending, Character and of course Anime of the Season.
If that seems appealing to you, you should join in the fun for the Fall 2016 Season
I'd also check out our season long event in the Power Ranking Committee.
I have already sent an invite as well as provide a link to our club ^.^ - http://myanimelist.net/clubs.php?cid=63899
"I am just more demanding than most anime fans" - Pretentious opening line
"We are served with yet another idiotic protagonist, who is ,of course, a very good person," - God awful grammar.
"If I'd get one cent for every time I had to roll my eyes, I'd be a millionaire." - Shitty attempt at humour
"The story tries to shock the viewer with its incredible *wink* unpredictability *wink*, it's shocking gore moments, killing everyone all the time, with an attempt to leave us in disbelief." - This cancerous sentence.
Conclusion: Another poorly made MAL review. We definitely need more negative reviews against overrated shows, but the least you could do is revise your work rather than shitting it out like 99% of the other garbage reviewers on this site.
I recommend you keep going with Shinsekai Yori (at some point, at least); it takes some time to really get going, but definitely isn't childish as it may initially appear.
Nope I can't agree that, manga is halfway BETWEEN anime and novels. They provide visual aids but at the same time lets the readers imagine the scenes on their own, not to the extent the anime provides us with though. Anyway enough with that, I just wanna enlighten you with the other side of the point of view. Now you've pretty much enough idea why the rating is at such.
Hey I read your aku no hana anime review and just had to confirm if you have read the manga. I'm pretty much right about you not reading it. The reason why the anime is at such low rating, despite of their intense psychological plot is because of the rotoscoping animation they used. Don't get me wrong, I am in love of the manga series and been patiently waiting for monthly updates since last year and i'm sure fans such as myself were disappointed by the adaptation. We can't help but remember the original character design so most probably those who rated the series that low were manga version fans. I did watch episode one and was amazed by the soundtracks but it's not enough to make me tolerate the whole adaptation.
Dunno about ptw, but if you gave score to dropped ones, probably they count.
Well ;_; i really couldn't laugh that much while watching Gintama, i am not that kind of comedy fan it seems :P And Gintama is just.. too long. i liked onizuka though!
i am more like a fan of unusual series, such as Aku no Hana \:D/ THAT NAKAMURA
i just wanted to check your profile (since i've read your Aku no Hana article) and i'm surprised because of anime compatibility. our anime taste is pretty similar yet compatibility is horribly low
Bro, you forgot to mention the art of Aku no Hana, should've mention the rotoscope part in your review, or else you would just be saying nice stuff about the anime you find enjoyable
