Now I'm feeling more apprehensive. I watched the first two episodes and I felt like crying at some parts already. The succeeding episodes were much tamer but it still feels like I should brace myself for a head on collision. I just want to protect everyone!
I actually really enjoyed it. It was hilarious (the faces are sooo funny!) and I really liked the characters (I liked the red-haired the least). Kaizaki's reflections about his ReLife and his advice for those poor, confused kids was what made it so interesting and engaging to me. I didn't expect romance but it more than delivered for some of us who live by shipping (lol) when you compare it to other romcoms. What didn't you like about it?
I can't handle it too, it's kinda put me in some kind of a numb state, nothing really hurts anymore. The episode could have added more depth to Kaneki's character. The fact that they 'altered' how Kaneki actually err. . . 'offered' himself to be Jason's hostage in exchange for the 'safety' of Banjou and his people kinda gave abit of depth to his character? Which bothered me how they cut that out. Also that he lived with his aunt and no matter how many times he tried it just got worse. It kinda contributed to the tragedy that his life had been. . . all long.
The manga's ending. . . I don't know I just refuse that Kaneki 'died' and Tsukiyama is probably into a catatonic depression state. That's like hitting two of my favorite characters with one stone. It's so hard to handle.
Err the whole second season crap I didn't buy. . . . if there was a special event on the 11th or something then why announce a 2nd season now? I'm actually scared that Ishida will just announce a 2nd season. I honestly would love the manga more. The anime was kinda butchering Kaneki's development all the way. . . .
If they're going to cramp like the rest of the chapters in 12 episodes. . . I'd rather NOT have a 2nd season.

Hmmmm, well I think it's just like how they said 'Rize' doesn't exist too at some point. Well if Eto = Takatsuki = Owl then she was with Tatara all long too. . . ???
There's lots of shit that don't seem to make sense, this is just one of them. . . I guess.

This manga caused me to revert to some sort of existential crisis.....then someone comes by and tells me the fandom is dying. How am I supposed to accept that?
