Welcome to my profile :) Just your average university student who loves to watch anime in his spare time.

As with all rating systems, the final score is a somewhat subjective measure of an anime's worth. While a solid plot and character development may result in an enjoyable experience for some, everyone is inherently biased to a degree since people desire different things from anime.

My scores reflect a predisposition to enjoy melodramatic and romantic action anime but have be adjusted overtime to accommodate my growing tiredness towards typical anime cliches. Anything below a 7 I consider not worth watching which is why the majority of my scores will lie above this.

Here's a scoring system for future reference and if you are interested:

1-4 Don't waste your time; painful to watch or dropped immediately
5 Average across the board. Bland and not enjoyable.
6 Not particularly enjoyable but watchable. Either due to not being a genre I enjoy or let down by obvious shortcomings.
7 Enjoyable, but occasionally marred by cliches or underwhelming plot/characters
8 Very enjoyable. Typically without the noticeable annoyances which detract from the experience. My personal enjoyment ends here.

9 Either enthralling but with noticeable plot/character issues or a technical masterpiece which I didn't fully enjoy.
10 A show not without faults but overlookable in the grand scheme of things. These are the closest shows I have found which were enthralling and I could consider masterpieces. They typically exemplify amazing character design/development and present a plot which contains a powerful underlying message.
