Thank you for your kind answer. I am actually also a lover of animated film. The first movie I watche in a cinema was The Junglebook, that was 1967. The cinema is not a cinema anymore, it is a coffeeshop, but the memory is still in my heart. I re-started to watch anime when my children were small, in the late -80-ies. Then it was Sailor Moon, He-Man, the Turtles and Transformers. Then we started to watch a lot of Disney´s films; The Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast and the Lion King, to mention a few.
Then I got into anime, and started to watch many of te works from Studio Ghibli; Kiki´s special delivery, The castle in the sky and, of course, My neighbor Totoro. Me and my then more or less adult children just loved what we saw. The graphics, the story..all of it.
The weather in Sweden has been very nice today. We took a walk in the sunshine today, along the shores. So nice!! But I prefer when you can the diffence between seasons, now it feels like a long fall, since November.
We have four grandchildren now and I will most certainly visit the Netherlands with them in the future.
You also like to watch out for birds? I had an account on Instagram, and there I uploaded many photos of birds nearby. I have been to Falsterbo and I find it very beautiful there.
I usaually watch some seasonal animes, yes. I watched Beastars, KonoSuba, and other shows. Now I watch Babylon, and a few more shows.
Do you buy or stream your anime? I do both. I sometimes buy old shows for very low costs in Sweden. I got four shows for like 14 Euro.
I hope you will have a good 2020. So, you are also an "oldtaku"? I am 58 years of age. I mostly watch romance, drama, isekai and slice-of-life. Often these genres go into each other. My favourite is "Tokyo Ghoul" and it doesn´t fit in at all with these genres. In Sweden, the weather is terrible now, strong winds and heavy rain. How are things in the Netherlands? I have been there, in 1980 we went to Philips in Eindhoven. We stayed in Amsterdam, and I remember it as a nice city. Have you been to Sweden?
