My name is Matthew G. I am a 23 year old geek who is a die-hard fan of film and desperately wants to become a filmmaker (or somehow involved in the industry in some capacity). In my spare time, the main thing I do is attend college classes and try to get good grades.

My plan is to get a degree in General Studies and use that as leverage to get me into film school (preferably in LA). When I'm not studying or doing homework, I often write stories that will (eventually) be used in scripts.

I'm very honest about the things I watch and a very harsh critic, I'll point out exactly what I liked and what I did not like about any given manga or anime I read/watch and never hold back. That said, my favorite genres of anime of anime usually fall into the realms of fantasy, science-fiction, romance (not moe bulls***), drama, action, mecha (only a little), and adventure. The same also goes for my preference in live-action film as well.

The kinds of music I like are rock (hard and symphonic), meta (sludge and black)l, old school hip-hop/rap, classical, etc.

My favorite genres of novels are primarily fantasy, horror, and science-fiction; but I'm not adverse to biographies, historical fiction, or other genres I don't often touch upon. My top 5 novels of all time are To Kill A Mockingbird, The Chronicles of Prydain (all 5 books), Of Mice and Men, The Shining, and Brave New World.
