I don’t have a specific favorite genre. I watch whatever I find interesting. Finishing series is hard for me because I go through moods with shows. I typically do not mark things as truly dropped unless I just couldn’t finish them. I have a rule to try to give a series 3 episodes before dropping it fully. I am always open to recommendations, friends, and chats. My favorite of all time is Demon Slayer - and no I can’t explain why. I find myself rewatching it often and it’s been on my birthday cakes for 3 years in a row (even have a shinobu inspired butterfly tattoo).

I typically don’t get much free time between working, caregiving, having pets, and helping family. So I use what I can where I can. If I’m not busy I’m usually watching anime - but if not I am probably playing the Sims 4 or some variation of a cozy game. I love snuggling up to my dog though and watching anime in my room.

I mark the anime I’ve seen as I remember they exist because I have a poor memory and that’s what made me seek this type of website out. MAL made it so easy for my bad memory and ever changing streaming sites throwing shows at each other to keep up with what I’ve seen and where I’m at with it. I try to give series I already watched an older start and finish date. Some of the series I’ve got marked as “currently watching” I’ve already seen but I’m rewatching (Inuyasha and Naruto for example).
