lmao I had the exact same reaction when Yota said the "look at all the friends i've made" .... like bruh. they reintroduced a random filler bad guy for solely the sake of making it seem like this show has a large cast of colorful characters, it was pathetically sad.

u say ep. 5 is pretty good, but all I could I think about is how close it was to plagiarizing an arc in a show I had just watched, Bokuben s2. The parents were exactly identical in personality and so was the situation. when I look back at the show now that the horrendous "plot" has kicked in im really left with absolutely nothing. I agree with one of your first points the show would have ironically been better if it had stuck to the innocent formulaic structure of wacky happenings with enigmatic loli girl, for whatever thats worth.

My favorite episodes are the first 5 episodes. They make wonderful use of Hina's abilities to get Yota the W. not to mention the ramen and mahjong episodes got me wheezing. Hina's great. Yota when he's acting is funny as hell. When he's normal, he's an idiot. The hacker kid even more so. He sets himself up to be a tool saying "let me handle this job" then proceeds to complain "am i just a tool to you?" Not sure if he just wants attention or money or what, but he's annoying as hell. and we know tengan kako only hangs with the group because of Yota but it's weird we don't see her making a move on him. Instead, she's just argues with Hina all the time.
