Quite possibly. But just because things are overrated doesn't mean that they're not good. Just maybe shows that they get more credit than they're worth. Like, there's things out there just as good as them but less popular.
sup! I still haven't gotten round to adding some of the stuff I've watched/read, but I'm getting there! You've got quite the list there - I'm impressed!
I'm not into watching anime with too many episodes usually (at least not anymore) but Lotgh is really worth it I believe. Just to see if you're gonna like it or not you can start with the first movie of the franchise. "Legend of the Galactic Heroes: My Conquest is the Sea of Stars" is a good start and even if you decide not to watch the whole series it's a good movie on its own.
First episode of Bakemonogatari was all that I expected visually but I'm not too sure about the story yet although it's too early to judge it so I'll save my judgment for a few episodes later.
Thank you! Yeah Ergo proxy is really great and I thought it was time to pay tribute to it :)
Baccano! was amazingly fun and refreshing. I rarely come across anime that are entertaining and have high standards. Usually one of these aspects is sacrificed in regular shows. Baccano is nicely balanced in my opinion. Characters (although there are lots of them) are interesting, likable and believable. It's a very well directed anime in my opinion and the art and animation is really good and suitable to the style of the anime. In general I really enjoyed it.
Yeah so far the book is interesting and well written in my opinion although it might take me longer than usual to finish it due to school projects and work:(
It took me 15 episodes to get used to FMA:Brotherhood and ever since the new material (manga material that's totally different from the first series) has started I'm loving the show.
ATM I'm a bit too busy to watch many anime but among those I'm watching I love "Legend of Galactic heroes", it's a very good anime. I also finished a few short anime lately some of which I didn't really like. "Aoi Hana" was a nice short romance (it's a shojo-Ai anime) that I enjoyed. I also finished watching "phantom ~requiem for the phantom~" and I recommend that you'd stay as far as possible from it. It was a waste of time in my opinion.
I'm planning to start Bakemonogatari and Baccano soon and after that I might watch Spice and Wolf.

How are you?
I just started reading "Shadow of the wind" (chapter 15) and I really like it so far. Just wanted to thank you for the recommendation :)
