I have a great deal of interest in individual expression and the arts. Such as ceramics, photography, painting, drawing, sewing, jewelry-crafting, and more. I am going to school for a bachelors in Psychology with a minor in Asia regional study. I also have an interest in Japanese culture and mythology, as well of anime and other pop-culture aspects. I especially like to study kami, my favorite is Inari, kitsune, and the Dakini in general. I also like to study other cultures, like the Celtic and Norse mythos. I find Danu and Frigga of particular interest in those. I basically just enjoy learning for the sake learning, I hope to one day travel and get to know the world a little better.

I really dislike that we can only list a few favorite anime! I have a lot that I feel should be in my top anime, but since there is such a limit, I have decided to list my top anime here in no particular order-ish (though more recent ones may be closer to the bottom), some I find similar in vibe or theme will be divided by a backslash.

Kyoukai no Kanata
Ao no Exorcist
Sankarea/Dansai Bunri no Crime Edge/Nazo no Kanojo X

Magi/Kingdom are pretty great too if you give them a chance. There's a few with unorthodox art styles that are good, World Trigger being one of the bigger ones.
Nanatsu no Taizai/Black Clover
Mahoustukai no Yome/Sakurako-san no Ashimoto ni wa Shitai ga Umatteiru
There's a lot more but these are all 9-10's for me, though I have other 10's, I think these are the best of them (that I can recall right now and that are not movies/manga).
May add some short descriptions in, but I have tags on my list anyway for most things so that would probably help if you're interested in learning more.

Have you been studying Japanese too and what do you love most the original Gundam?
To be quite honest, I prefer that 2001 manga, The Origin to its 1979 anime counterpart.
The Origin is the kind of manga my supertomboyish friend around your age would love to read. My semitomboyish friend from North Carolina did read it a while ago and she loves all kinds of sci-fi.
Said supertomboyish friend turned 39 last month, by the way. She's usually an outdoors kind of person so yes, she loves hiking.
Speaking of sci-fi, I've been reading Copperhead. It revolves around isolation, corruption and misuse of power.
WT is criminally underrated its one of the best anime I seen in recent memory. This anime deserves more love and I can't wait to buy the DVD complete box set of this masterpiece 10/10 Well done Toei :)
Even more now that the story is getting super interesting!
I love that story, if it continues as good as this then I will rate it a 10 as well.
I'm going to read the manga as well, I want to know what is going to happen as fast as possible =D
I think it is super underrated for it's potential.
Also, i might pick it up later un this year as a " im gonna hide in my room and just watch anime for the entire weekend" kind of thing lol. but thanks for the positive review.
P.S. Nice Choice of animes :D
