Sorry for extremelyyyyy late reply, it's been hard for me these past few weeks, but I'm a bit better now, so I'm finally replying hehe, sorry again! >//<

Ticheli is a name that I've really grown to know because I've been seeing his name a lot. The first piece I played by him was Joy, I believe, which I played last year. I played Joy Revisited at all-state the same year. I really love what I've heard of his works so far. :>
LGPE is Large Group Performance Evaluation, they judge us on our school's symphony's performance.
Ohhhh, I see. I haven't really done much of that, though I did do a clarinet ensemble last year with my clarinet bandmates, and it was really fun~ But really nerve-wracking for me, hehe. I believe the piece was called Polonaise and Presto, though I may be wrong. :o

Sometimes I think that that's the case because I've quite often gotten higher marks for stuff like district and all-state last year in 8th grade. Maybe it has something to do with the nerves....well, all I know is that he's way better imo because he can do a lot of things I can't do on the clarinet.....
Sounds really hard...and long. 16 minutes, wow.

Hehe, I'm gonna do my best to practice lots and not be too lazy about it... to live up to my chair! Though I'm positive my classmate a chair rank below me is wayyyy better than me (I've been sitting next to him in my classes since 2 yrs ago in middle school band). Doesn't make sense to me. xP

Ah, thanks, I'll take your advice. Lately I've been feeling a lot of pressure from my band class because my band director gave me wayyyy too high of a chair than for my actual skill level. ;v;.

Your covers are inspiring for me. I also play clarinet (currently in my 4th year playing it and in my 1st year of highschool and still think I'm pretty bad, and I aspire to be that good someday. :'>) I guess I just wanted to say that because I rarely get a chance to talk to someone I've admired and loved the works of for quite a while.
