*These characters are my most favorite characters. They are even better than the ones in my "characters" category because there wasnt space for them so i made this (except kaiji, kaiji is my favorite character of all time literally).*

PS: This list is not exaggerated in the slightest, all of these characters are portrayed true to their source material so dont ask any questions and yes, Y462 is a real character, if you watched death note and do not remember him or Andref Ogledalo, then dont worry because they both appear for a total of about 35 seconds on screen.

MY ALL TIME FAVORITE CHARACTERS


Itou Kaiji (Gyakkyou Burai Kaiji) - As you can see just from his appearance, this man is the sharpest tool in the shed. Not only does he undoubtedly have the sharpest nose in anime and manga history but his survival skills rival those of Bear Grylls. But it turns out, that even if you have the best survival skills in Japan, they wont save you from being an idiot. This will all be spoilers below so dont read if you intend to watch Kaiji or dont want to be spoiled, and i recommend to to watch it.So basically this guy might not be the smartest man, but once it comes to survival you can rely on him, and thats why he is the first guy on this list.



Platinum Man (Cyberpunk: Edgerunners) - This character is involved in the biggest plot twist in all of anime. In his first appearance, he is shown as a regular bandit who was hired to find and kidnap Lucy (the show's deuteragonist). However, Lucy thought she one-upped him and went to his house to kill him while he had a VR headset on, then suddenly he transforms from human to platinum and shocks Lucy as well as the viewers (including me). He smirks at Lucy and without even lifting a finger he makes her collapse on the ground. Platinum Man was suggested to be a weak, generic bandit but happened to be one of the most skilled & powerful edgerunners, he is speculated to be even stronger than Adam Smasher himself as he can knock you out without touching you and smirking at how weak you are (meaning he isn't seriously trying to fight you). One of the biggest, if not, THE biggest plot twist I've ever seen in anime history (I've watched more than 300 anime).



Andref "ー" Ogledalo (Death Note) - Andref is my 1. favorite anime character. He was such a brave bald man that he worked in the Mafia under Bob Ross and followed his orders with all of his compassion, but sadly they played him like a fiddle and killed him in the Death Note by writing a single line. His death remains one of the most impactful ones of ALL TIME to this day.



Miche "Mike" Zacharias (Attack on Titan) - Not many people are as brave as this character. He was a extremely powerful Survey Corps soldier, 2nd only to Levi (one of the shittiest characters in Attack on Titan). I'll have to use spoilers to tell you how noble he was. Despite me not enjoying Attack on Titan as much as others do, I have to say I am amazed at the sheer brilliance of this character.



Kitaumekawa Daichi (Happy Sugar Life) - Despite being from a show so fucking bad that I can't put into words the sheer bullshit I experienced while watching it, he soars into the sky with his greatness among all the other shitty characters. Since you will probably never watch Happy Sugar Life (you shouldn't), I will have to lay out the story on the table. There will be no spoiler alert because this anime is so shit you should probably know the story so you don't watch it. Kitaumekawa looked like an ordinary teacher to those that do not know him personally, but in secret he has a fetish for school girls. I wouldn't say he's a pedophile, but you decide what you will think of him. He attempts to sexually assault the main character, but she somehow manages to make him become her slave (do not ask how, the anime is literally the worst I've seen in years) and she then gave him a bag for him to throw into the trash. Of course, like anyone would do he just throws it into an incinerator without questioning what's in it and goes on to live his everyday life with his family (he has a wife and child). Now, he disappears for like 10 episodes, now there are 2 options for this 1. The people making it probably forgot he existed until the last episode or 2. They don't know to write an interesting story with more than 3 characters, so they just left him out because one more main character would be too hard to write. In these 10 episodes that he wasn't in, every minute me and my friend were waiting for him to reappear because if he actually did happen to come back for a good reason, this anime would actually be enjoyable. See, Kitaumekawa might be a weirdo, and maybe a pedophile if you would call him that, but in the 10 episodes he is not present it's revealed that he was trying to expose the protagonist that made him her slave, Satou Matsuzaka, to the police. The protagonist of this anime is not a theoretical pedophile like Kitaumekawa is, since he hasn't done anything to any child yet, instead she is a literal pedophile, she kidnapped a child (younger than 10) and convinced that child to be her lover (stockholm syndrome). Kitaumekawa wants to expose this since he is actually the only human being you could consider somewhat good. In the last episode he finally reappears and calls the police on the protagonists apartment, and the police comes but the protagonist takes the child and tells her to jump off the roof of the apartment and that they will be forever together. They jump, and for some reason the child survives a 10 floor fall, and now you'd say that Kitaumekawa would be considered a hero by many people since he defeated the whore that was the protagonist of this anime. Right? No. Kitaumekawa is arrested on the spot and his life is destroyed. You know why? Because the protagonist killed someone and that was the bag that he threw in the incinerator. Wow. Such a good story! I want to find the mangaka of this and punch him right in the face, around 10 times, so that he realizes how shit his story is and that he will never accomplish anything with his job as the worst mangaka I have ever seen.



Y462 (Death Note) - He is my 2nd favorite character from Death Note. His death is as impactful as Andref's death. Ill explain his life story for you so you experience it as i did; Y462 was an ordinary Mafia member working with such legends as Andref Ogledalo, Bob Ross and Jack Synder. But he did something... Something that the Mafia could never forgive him for... unless he could get his hands on the Death Note and give it to the boss, Synder... So Y462 took off in a helicopter to some isolated desert. He met up with the chief of police Soichiro Yagami and tested the Death Note by writing a single line in it (ー) and waited 45 seconds... A loud thump was heard in the emergency room of the Mafia... "ー" was Andref's secret middle name and he had used it to kill Andref to test the Death Note... Andref Ogledalo was dead... Rod, Y462 and Synder had planned this before; to write Andref's name to test the Death Note and whether it was real or not... After Andref was killed he traded the Death Note for the chief's daugther that they somehow kidnapped (I dont think it's explained how they did that but ok, death note part 2 logic). Y462 then took off his mask and ran off back to his helicopter, ready to escape. He launched the Death Note in a missile to the emergency room where the right hand man of the boss, Rod Ross was located... Y462 was extremely excited because after all those years he spent getting punked on by the higher ups in the gang... all those years being at the bottom of the gang... Y462 had enough of that. Now he was the one who had retrieved the Death Note. He was the one who had defeated the whole police force of Japan and the FBI combined! He was the one who did all this! All of these emotions had overwhelmed him... He was experiencing the time of his lifetime... But then Synder smiled and Rod Ross came and said: "Do it!" and some random guy started typing on a keyboard... unbeknownst to Y462, the keyboard mafian had executed the command /inject dll "Destroyhelicopter.dll". In a split second his helicopter exploded and Y462 had died inside its fireball, never to be seen again... This is why he is my favorite character... He had such a bright future, but sadly died because of the boss' meddling... Rest in peace Y462... You will forever be remembered as one of the legends who sacrificed himself so that Light would die in the end.



Rod "Freeman" Ross (nicknamed "Bob Ross") (Death Note) - he is one of my most favorite characters in Death Note after the ones above because he was the right hand man of the boss of the mafia, Jack Synder, and such a good character that after doing his part in killing Andref and Y462 (basically moving the plot forward), he completely disappeared (or maybe he just died, he was so irrelevant that i didnt notice it).



Jack "Cinder, Snyder" Synder (Death Note) - This man singlehandedly lead the Mafia, with little help from his right hand man Rod Ross. Despite him being an evil scumbag, he's still very memorable because he had ordered Andref's and Y462's deaths. He had no problem with using his henchmen to get to his goal. Thats why i love him as a villain.



Pinto (Tokyo Ghoul: "Pinto") - Pinto is a rare example of a character that you will love even if you dont watch the anime he is from. I can objectively say that Pinto is the most powerful anime character in existence, Goku, Naruto and Carne do not compare to his superior power. Since the day I first heard of this character I have been enlightened by an entity stronger than God himself. My third eye has been opened and I don't think i will ever find a better character than Pinto.



Jack (Tokyo Ghoul: "Jack") - I am quite embarrassed by my remarks on Pinto. I admit, i have vastly underestimated the Tokyo Ghoul franchise. Jack is such a good character that i can't give him enough justice, even if i wrote a 5,000,000 word essay about his sheer excellence. I have to put this in perspective for you to understand; Even if i went ahead and collected each and every piece of literature ever created in Human history, that wouldn't be nearly enough for me to explain the motivations and story of this character. What i will attempt to do is explain a very small piece of this character than amazes me to this day, and if you agree with me and go watch Tokyo Ghoul "Jack" then you will know yourself how amazing this character is. First of all, every character in Anime history is an entity. A being, living or dead; it doesn't matter. Every character is HIMSELF/HERSELF. What amazes me is that this character is a deconstruction and subversion of this trope: Jack does not physically and psychologically exist in the world. He is a fusion of three characters; all of them retaining some of Jack's characteristics. If Pinto is a being above gods, then Jack is a being above this plane of existence itself. His existence warps all understanding of physics and the meaning of life itself. Jack has changed my life in a way i cannot communicate to you. All you can do is trust me and watch Tokyo Ghoul "Jack" and witness this superior entity yourself.



Kuradeel (Sword Art Online) - Many of you who have watched Sword Art Online (doesn't matter if you are fanboys or haters) will say that I am insane for putting Kuradeel on my list, but that's where you are wrong. Kuradeel singlehandedly almost killed the protagonist of the anime he is in, Kirito, and literally killed Kirito's friend Godfrey in front of him. If the fight had been a fair 1v1 Kuradeel would have sliced through Kirito easily, but then Asuna showed up and Kuradeel was killed because Kirito and Asuna have plot armor. If this show wasn't shit, Kuradeel would have won the fight and he would have been the protagonist of Sword Art Online for the remaining half of the show. This is an example of a character that is so strong and intelligent that the show itself doomed him and killed him off with the protagonists plot armor. R.I.P. Kuradeel, you were an amazing character who almost dealt the killing blow to an anime's protagonist, you absolutely deserve your spot on this list.



Itagaki's Father (Hajime no Ippo) - On one side you have Itagaki Manabu, who is some random character who was added to Ippo's friend lineup. Personally, i didnt like or dislike him. He was kind of a breath of fresh air since Ippo's friend lineup doesnt change that much. But on the other side you have his father. He is such a legend that he doesnt need a name to be such a good character. His roasts are more hot than a stove on the highest setting. Within mere seconds the flesh on your body would be melting away from the sheer power of this man's roasts. Simply amazing.



The Black Guy (mysterious anime that i forgot the name of) - This is an even bigger legend than Itagaki's father and once again, he has no name, but it's not like the man needs a name because his name is irrelevant. He only appears in one scene in the anime, but with that one scene we realise that the man does not speak like any ordinary entity. From the first line of dialogue we see that the man speaks in lowercase. And if you insult him (even accidentally), you probably wont get away from him alive, and even if you do, you will have to say hi to the people in Jersey for him.



Ando "Andre" (Prison School) - There aren't many anime characters than instill fear in me just from their looks, but this man is just that. It's not that he himself is scary but his expressions are very photo-realistic and just thinking about being in his place makes the hair on my balls stand up. Andre has probably gone through more pain than many POW's yet he always comes back for more. His willpower is amazing and he has a heart made out of iron, cementing his place on this list of the best characters who EVER appeared in anime history.



Murasako Masao (Shiki) - Masao might be a coward and be ugly, but his appearance doesnt change the fact that he is a genuinely a good and honest guy, but he sounds like an asshole when he says stuff and thats why he is disliked by many others. He should have survived the shiki apocalypse because he listened to his superiors but Megumi left him and escaped so Masao was left with the option to go to his sisters house, but he was disliked by his whole family so his sister didnt trust him and killed him with a baseball bat. His story is very sad. (Rest In Pieces)



Shingo Shoji (Initial D) - Shingo was the world's number 1. drifter and racer before he got dethroned by Takumi. It is obvious that in that race Takumi was cheating, so Shingo selflessly tried to sacrifice himself to bring Takumi down with him but sadly he failed and hit the guard rail, which killed him.
The man who voiced Shingo, Keiji Fujiwara, died at the age of 55 in April 12, 2020. He will forever be remembered just like the character he voiced. Rest in pieces Keiji Fujiwara.



Akio Asakura (Wangan Midnight) - This man is an excellent street racer who races on highways at more than 300 km/h. Numerous times he has gotten into car accidents and crashed, his car even exploded at one point, but no worries, Akio is so powerful that these accidents which would have killed any normal human being leave literally one scar on his face every time he crashes. He is literally made of steel and i don't expect him to die even if a nuclear bomb landed inches away from him.



Munenori Agawa (Sakuranbo Syndrome 2) - At first this guy seems like a total coward just like Masao, but unlike Masao he isnt actually a coward and he is a good guy who sacrifices the love of his girlfriend to save someone. At the start of the manga he meets a middle school girl who actually turns out to be a college girl who has 19 years but she has a disease that makes her age backwards unless she is kissed by someone who has some kind of Chemical X salive, which turns out to be what this dude has. So he and that girl kiss and then he brings her to a love hotel but they dont fuck and Munemori gets mad because he remembered how he got dumped by his old girlfriend who probably used him for sex just like this girl is using him to not age back to a toddler. So, time passes and this dude goes into a transformation from a virgin to an absolute CHAD and he gets all the women where he works. Then suddenly this girl comes back and because she didnt kiss anyone her body turned into that of a child. So this guy just kisses her and i think he kisses her in public which cements the fact that he is an absolute chad who doesnt give a shit what the FBI will think if they see him kissing a child on the lips, and chads like him are welcome to my list so thats why he is on here. BUT OMG then a plot twist happens and he gets hit by his coworker's car and sadly dies. If you havent read this manga read it, the first three quarters are a really interesting read.



Chief Yagami (Death Note) - Otherwise known as Soichiro, this man was a excellent police officer and he rose to the rank of chief very fast, but then suddenly a killer emerged who killed people just with a notebook. This killer who was named "Kira" was actually Soichiro's own son, and the killer would kill anyone who got into his way. One day, Soichiro went into a basement run by the mafia boss Rod Ross and tried to kill him, and he succeded but his enemy Mello escaped. In the battle, Soichiro was wounded and this scene was very sad and very amazingly animated. Later, Soichiro is rescued and sent to the emergency room to be operated on and he is luckily still alive, but he wont last for long, thats when his son came in and tricked him to think that he isnt the killer because he forgot about it so it doesnt show him as the killer. Then Soichiro dropped his pen and his heart stopped beating and i cried in this scene. Very amazing character indeed.



Narrator (Kaiji) - The narrator of Kaiji has one of the best voices from every anime. I really felt it when he said "PINZORO PINZORO PINZORO!!!".



Hideyoshi Hijiri (Bari Bari Densetsu) - You've already seen two or more street racers on this list, but this guy is different. He doesn't race with a car, he races with a motorcycle. He was so skilled that even the protagonist of the anime he is couldn't beat him (even Before that tragedy he and the protagonist (Koma Gun) didn't get along good and they insulted each other at the first chance they got. But even with this going on, Hideyoshi managed to look past their differences, and after he got an invitation to a race (which needed 2 racers) he kneeled down and begged Gun to enter with him, which Gun accepted. In this racing championship, Hideyoshi selflessly carried Gun to victory and even crashed and almost lost all hope, but he still continued nevertheless. After this amazing feat of his racing skills, he got the recognition he deserved and got invited to a professional racing team (he was racing on the streets before this). He vowed not to race on the streets after this moment, because for all of his life he was racing to financially support his sister, Tomoyo, because their parents died in a car crash on the mountain pass he would usually drive on. He did not want to risk his life since his life dream got fulfilled. But, later that day he met up with Gun and told him about this. These two respected each other very much after they won the tournament and as a farewell agreed to race each other on the mountain pass for one last time. Gun was presented with the decision of taking Hideyoshi's bike and riding it in the professional racing team, because Hideyoshi said that Gun would be the first person he would rely on to race instead of him Gun, instead of taking this decision, decided to This legendary racer will forever be remembered in my heart and in the heart's of all the people who watched this anime.



James Sunderland (Silent Hill 2) - James is my favorite character from the Silent Hill 2 pachinko machine series (Eddie is the 2nd). He is much more sane than Eddie, but at the same time he

Eddie Dombrowski (Silent Hill 2) - Eddie is my second favorite character from the Silent Hill pachinko machine franchise. The stories in those games are so good and they make the characters feel so real. You can see Eddie's dialogue after he goes crazy down below but dont click show if you havent played Silent Hill 2 or Silent Hill 2 Pachinko Machine.




Anti-Herobrine (Gorillaz) - Otherwise known as "Entity 303", this guy can sing really well and he has a very good band called Gorillaz. His birth name was "Stuart Pot" but he changed it to 2D or 'Anti-Herobrine after an accident in a instrument store where he worked at. Basically, a green man broke into the store with a car and injured his eyes so know he is now known as 'Anti-Herobrine'.

WORST CHARACTERS OF ALL TIME




Levi Ackerman (Attack on Titan) - He is the worst character of Attack on Titan, worse than Gabi and whoever else exists and will exist in future chapters. His reason to exist is only so that he can be annoying. He has been beating up Eren for literally 4 seasons. Out of all the great and wise characters of Attack on Titan, why does this man have so many fangirls? Are you whores actually fucking masochists? Do you want Levi to be transported to the real world so that he can beat you up like he did with Eren? Or better yet, you get hit by a truck and are reincarnated in Paradis so that you can see how big of an annoying asshole he is. I would understand if Miche Zacharias had such a big following of fangirls since the man is literally hot, a hero, and an actual human being with emotions while Levi can only kick you in the stomach or give you narrative exposition in his monotonous voice. I have never seen a more lazily written MAIN character than this guy. I do not believe that this is a main character. He should be marked as "supporting character" since his screen time is literally less than Jean, the bald guy, Sasha and literally fucking dozens and dozens of characters. I literally know Pixis better as a character than this fucking guy with no story nor emotions. You could replace him with a mannequin and everything would be the same except the fight scenes, and we would need a new character to give us narrative exposition. Hell, why doesn't the guy who saved Eren come and give us narrative exposition, I'd rather have his spirit come and do it instead of this "character".



Gabi Braun (Attack on Titan) - Being so stupid as to stay brainwashed while living in the society you were brainwashed to think were fucking DEVILS is one thing. Another thing is to be the writer's favorite character and have a plot armor so thick it can withstand the explosion of the Tsar Bomba. How do you, as a child, kill a grown man that for some reason doesn't shoot you despite seeing that you are carrying a rifle, and then use his complex maneuvering gear to climb onto a blimp. I know it's just pressing one button, but does she not feel fear??? How can you click something you do not understand. What if the rope that was connecting you to the blimp is supposted to be cut once you press the button on the maneuvering gear? Imagine this: you are walking on the street but suddenly a massive 20 meter tall beast appears out of nowhere and murders thousands of civilians and military personnel. You turn around to find your best friend dead, crushed under debris that the giant beast caused. Your other friend tries to move the debris but a massive wave of scared people run by, crushing your friend in their attempt to escape the massive beast. You are now alone with a random guy from the army in the middle of a battlefield. Urban warfare is happening in front of your eyes, people are being shot in their heads from other people that can fly. What would you do now? Option A: Run to safety as fast as possible. B: Go see if your family is alive. C: Go join the military forces that are fighting the oncoming flying soldiers, running is futile in a battlefield and the safest bet is to hide in a building with them. D: Freeze on the spot because bullets are whizzing by and you just saw thousands of people die, including your close friends. If you are a human being you'd probably pick something between these options. But if you are Gabi you'd pick option "Ж" - Take a soldiers rifle and go straight to where the oncoming attackers are. Jump out from the side and snipe one of the attacking soldiers. You see that he is connected with a giant blimp. Of course, you as a 12 year old have not yet confronted with the feeling of "fear", so you connect yourself to his gear and proceed to enter the blimp which is fully occupied with enemy soldiers that are ready to shoot you. Now, you jump out of the side and shoot a soldier. Of course the enemies are quick to react, and a handsome man pulls out a pistol and quickly shoots you, and you shoot back but in this moment your friend, who I'll call Reiner V2: Requiem, jumps out from the side and pushes you so you are not shot. Of course, the soldiers are not intimidated by someone who shot their comrade and still has a fully loaded rifle in their arms, so they come running to you and start to punch you in the face, despite you having a chance to shoot them, and them having a chance to shoot you, but instead opting to risk their lifes attacking a person with a loadead firearm with their fists. If you choose option "Ж" like Gabi did, I congratulate you for becoming God's favorite character, so favoured that he gave you real life plot armor, the likes of which have never been seen before.



Satou Matsuzaka (Happy Sugar Life) - Will explain soon.



Decim (Death Parade) - This man is not necessarily the worst character, but his appearance makes him appear on this list. He looks like he survived radiation from chernobyl and his face has mutated into something otherworldly.



Suzaku (Code Geass) - Suzaku is a good guy in his heart but sadly he is suffering from a serious case of autism.



Okuyasu "Basketball" Nijimura (Jojo Part 4) - Okuyasu is also a good guy and a hero but his head looks like a basketball and his brain is somehow missing because the decisions he makes make absolutely no logic and in the ending of Jojo part 4 he explodes but is revived by Josuke and i think people as retarded as him dont deserve to survive a fight with the mighty Duwang Killer.



Suicide Bomber (Hunter X Hunter) - Genthru posesses a very powerful power which is called "Mali Cvet" and i rooted for him to win against Gon and Killua and their mentor Bisky, but he and his gang failed miserably and they got tied up and thrown into a makeshift grave to be buried so that nobody could find their bodies. If he was a smart man he would have one-shot all characters from Hunter X Hunter including Ging and Meruem.
