Funi has fucked up policies regarding the release of dubbed movies, so I'm not sure when they will come out. could easily be another 6 months. Altho why they didn't release the subs, is beyond me.
The new QZ looks good, but I'm not sure how I feel by about the design changes. Honestly, they should have stuck to the s1 designs. I also think Tencent will come out with an official sub, like they did with s1.

Yeah. You're right. I did think something was off when I watched this video - the characters have become more bishie in appearance, haven't they? Sharper jawlines, slightly longer hair.... subtle difference, but enough to make one think something is not right. I actually like it this way. Are the OVAs being made by the original studio or the newer one?
