Deadman Wonderland sucks, get over it
That pessimistic, overly dar, poorly wirtten show with 0 likable characters should have never been made.

Think about why it is the flow though. Because happy endings are the most satisfying. You are right, not everything needs a happy ending but, it needs to be satisfying. happy endings are the best way to do that.

IT DID SHOW THAT THEY WERE WILLING TO SACRIFICE THEMSELVES FOR EACH OTHER! And what is wrong with a happy ending? And no the fact that there is a sequal movie does not count. The series has to end in a good way on it's own. And yea it is totally satisfying to see Al LOSE HIS MEMORY AND THUS NOT GROW AS A CHARACTER IN THE PROCESS! By the ending of the series it just seems hopeless. Ed will never reunite with his brother and is going to have to live thru WWII. It is unsatisfying! Brotherhood gave a conclusion to each character. The ending is supposed to serve the characters not the themes.

But, the happy ending is part of what made brotherhood so much better! The ending of FMA just sucked in my opinion. Not everything was tied up. And the characters deserved a happy ending.

May I ask why you prefer the original FMA over Brotherhood?
