I don't feel different so far and I love the way a lunar eclipse emits that beautiful reddish color.

Never heard of Midnight Occult Civil Services. It might help pass the time before the anime industry finally announces a future Macross movie.

Harmony Gold and Big West agreed to translate future Macross movies in many languages, including Arabic. At least all the languages Duolingo supports everyday.

I wonder how they'll handle Southern Min and the more complex, obscure languages.

All I know is that I might go to the movie theater again. All they do at the moment is sell popcorn, but with more exhibition of anime, they might be more than some place that's just selling popcorn.

It would take some effort to adapt that other side of Middle Eastern mythos into video games, but it could work.

Adapting Hinduism into a video game like Shin Megami Tensei may have worked because of fitting themes like fate and existentialism. Those themes were common at around the time partly because of Big O season 2 being aired two decades ago (beautiful animations and artwork for its time; that Sunrise anime was an improvement of the manga it was based on).

I guess it would be Wild Arms: Alter Code f because of its amazing sidequests and modern graphics. Definitely one of the most beautiful PS2 games I've ever played and one of the few respectable remakes. Those Wild Arms 3 mechanics really helped make it that underrated gem it is today.

PS2 games-wise, I really want to check out Arc The Lad: Twilight of the Spirits. Would sure love to explore its themes of prejudice, war, conflict and spirituality some time. Sounds like another underrated gem, doesn't it? It should have been adapted into anime like its first two predecessors.

I went shopping again and I will wait for ao open air market on Wednesday. In the meantime, I'll make more dinner plates with recently purchased clay.

I'll make a vase later, but I might make it by the time Akifumi Kaneko announces Armed Fantasia further.

Speaking of two decades ago, I remember when I watched Stand Alone Complex (including 2nd Gig) every Saturday night. I was in high school at the time. Said friend that turned 35 earlier this astronomical winter used to watch that anime every Saturday night with great anticipation. May Atsuko Tanaka RIP! the voice of Motoko, Eva Durex from Virtua Fighter, Ultimecia and the lady commander Eleanor Varrot from Valkyria Chronicles.

One of the best Ghost in the Shell adaptations besides that 1998 game with Toshihiro Kawamoto's character designs. He's the reason why Motoko in that game strongly resembled Faye Valentine.

I once believed that it was Masamune Shirow who designed those characters in said 1998 game.

With that said, I look forward to the rest of March, the start of meteorological spring.

Meteorological winter here in my current residence (central Mexico) is over, but astronomical winter doesn't end until April. February is quite hot here during astronomical winter, the perfect time for oranges. The wet season won't start until late June so I'll have to endure the heat until then.

Nice to see you that you've had fun with Persona 5 Royal. Gameplay-wise, I really loved that other Atlus game Digital Devil Saga and I loved exploring Hinduism via Shin Megami Tensei.

Shin Megami Tensei's two major themes, existentialism and fate, make me want to explore another indie comic book called Saga. Yes, first Copperhead then Saga after Tokyo Ghost (delves into the consequences of virtual reality and untested experiments; themes that are unheard of in regular cyberpunk like Blade Runner).

Cyberpunk in the world of independent comics defies conventions more regularly than in other media like anime and movies. Lacking evil corporations (or stock antagonists) and similar neon gritty nights in the rain which may be too depressing. That's why non-traditional cyberpunk deserve adaptations. Silent Möbius also deserves a brand new adaptation with QD's story included. The first manga that broke traditions and conventions in that subgenre (I would put cultists and demons over stock cyberpunk villains guaranteed).

I think that you deserve Dot Hack GU HD Remastered. Said semitomboy was very happy when it got announced. I'm OK with remasters as long as there are no unnecessary changes like Grandia HD.

Other than that, Arc The Lad 2 is a masterpiece and I have yet to play Twilight of the Spirits which has overall good reception. I wouldn't be too surprised if Twilight of the Spirits had similar narrative and themes that made older Arc The Lad games so interesting.

High-budget games, as we can see, keep retaining conventions and lack of innovation that hurt their reception. Yes, AAA games in the later 21st century may not be worth playing as much. All the more reason to support smaller game developers that prioritize customer satisfaction. It is clear to us that people nowadays prefer small developers over big ones with money further than creativity.

With that said, how are you doing this Year of the Snake (wood snake every 60 years)?

I've been exploring the Arc The Lad collection and Copperhead.

I can't wait to check out Tokyo Ghost some time. My friend who had a 35th birthday as of winter would sure love to explore unconventional cyberpunk. Huge fan of that Dot Hack franchise.

Why, yes I have milady and here is a picture of my old dog named Eve (sometimes Chibi because she was so small and cute like one):

Taken when she was almost middle aged.

So how are you doing this November?

An old chihuahua of mine that passed away was born this month. I'll show you a picture of her later.

With that said, Happy Birthday!

Yes, it's that special day and here is something I have yet to show you:

Hello again milady!

I think the same about Suikoden 3 (manga). I also love the way it offers a detailed and engaging adaptation of the game. Also the way it captures the depth of its source material while providing additional context and development to its respective characters, plot, world. Virtually zero household names in manga delve into a combination of these themes. Many household names in manga aim to be too linear and formulaic.

As for Japanese, I love Genki I so much that I decided to read it again. One day, I'll get as much experience in Japanese as a semitomboy that I haven't seen in ages that is pretty much married to a Chinese man.

Other than that, I forgot that your birthday is practically next door to a historical manga nerd that I've known for ages. I look forward to your next birthday too.
