if you are here i prolly offended you, now i dont mean the things i say on a personal level BUT i do kinda mean the things i say about your anime views
I can understand. Well I used to be religious in the past so I can somewhat understand their perspective too but well that was when I was much younger.
You know what all good stories have in common?
Characters.
You know what all bad stories have in common? Just stories.
When all characters become marionettes in a theatre play that moves its characters along the story instead of the story along the character, thats often called the lazy approach.
Thats, Dr.Stones after season 1, a theatre of lazy writing and pitiful attempt at moving the story without the slightest consideration to the development of the characters at all.
Which is perfectly fine! Its a kodomuke anime after all, not seinen.
Yeah, It's the Marineford scenes. IDK if you're a fan, but most of the OP fandom places the Marineford arc on a pedestal as the most sacred, precious, "peak of the series" thing, being biased towards anyone who disagrees. They've always dreamed to see a remake with movie quality animation and this special accomplishes this even if by a few moments. The glimpses of what could've been already makes it worthy for them. And it's expected since it's a fanservice placeholder for the upcoming FMI remake. But is funny AF since OP anime is placed at 52nd and a filler of it is on 2nd just cuz "badass marineford scenes guys wow". The score will drop at some point, MAL ranking is fake anyways
Hi! It's literally just recaps of the show, and the only new footage is the characters singing the ending song (from the show, the new song for the movie didn't get any footage) near the end. I made my first negative review of the movie, honestly. They skipped over so many important scenes, even entire episodes just get badly retold in a single sentence, but they keep some full scenes as is for no reason. Save the time.
