There are tons of VN's being adapted doing a damn better job.Source material is just the most basic excuse of fans to make up for the fact that they wasted so many hours of their lives watching something made by people who are useless at making an anime that can hold its' own without resorting to cheap tactics.And it's not just Clannad it's also the other 2 Air and Kanon who resort to the metaphysical route to extort feeling from the viewer in order to distract him from the fact that these animes have no meaning,no substance,no real story to back it up.Throw some feels there,throw some deaths here,throw some magical shit and ressurections and off we go.
What's more...*cough cough* you really are about to tell me they did a good job at portraying the relationship between those two?Cause i've never seen in my entire fucking life such a fake,forced romance...Well there's always Titanic in which i was laughing so hard i almost died from oxygen deprivation.But even that felt more real.Can you look me in the eyes....Well no you can't i'm some million miles away,but can you stand there and honestly tell me that this wasn't the most bullshit romance ever?When did they fall in love?And how?By staring at each other?By holding hands?They didn't even kiss for god's sake but ended up with a kid nevertheless cause as we know staring hard at someone can knock them up...The bible has a similar story and it's still bullshit..Unless a flower can make you pregnant.
I can talk all day long and list things but 2 things are stopping me.I'm not open to changing my mind you are dead set it's brilliant and we will go on till the end of time throwing shit at each other.And i'm a lover not a fighter.And i'm also drunk most of the time so i'll basically forget about the passionate nights we had,

Ok...Are we talking source material here?NO...We're talking about the anime..Mistakes?No mistakes.You just want to see mistakes and don't want to face the harsh reality that this anime is an undiluted piece of shit that is ONLY praised because of the cheap "feels man"...Oh please an anime that doesn't have it's own identity,relies heavily on the supernatural element while trying to be true to life...Might as well tell you now that Santa doesn't exist then!I listed many reasons as to why i don't like this lesson in emotions extortion.If they weren't enough maybe it's you that has the prob not me.Just saying that at times we have to look at ourselves for the answers..Not me Gandhi or someone else said that and he's right.

Yes! I watched the first season of Clannad couple years ago and i loved it, but i'm not sure why i didn't watched the After story ><. Guess this means i need to rewatch it from the beginning xD
