She does care. She just cares about other characters that aren't as good as you more.

Even though she doesn't put you in as much as she should, your still the best to me.

Maybe she did that because you would draw attention away from the events happening since you’re so cute and everyone would be more focused on you than anything else. Other characters might be sad that they don't seem important anymore since you are always more important.

I personally would love it if you showed up in all the episodes and chapters.
