Greetings koffix I recently gave you a invitation to a seasonal club.
I tend to like to start a conversation with everyone I invite instead of just giving you a random invite.
You have three shows that are a 7 out of the 10 this season, which is the one the edges the other two out as the top show?

... So you consider yourself an anime "veteran", i didn't expect you to say such a pathetic line omg XD. I guess when you have dropped enough anime you are an anime veteran, *looks at days worth of anime* oh ok, i guess... that was the joke

Ok, I can understand that. I think your problem with this show is that you need a character to care for to enjoy the show. This show's main appeals are the cases and their execution as well as setting. I like that but I can totally see how someone would not enjoy this. That doesn't make it a bad show though. I don't think every show, like seen here, needs to be character-driven or even have developed characters at all if it thrives on other points. It probably won't ever be a 10/10 show if it neglects characters so much but it could still be a good show. It's just something some people, that need characters to carry, would enjoy.

You realise that it's a main point of Joker Game that you don't know anything about the spies and their pasts? Uh, an Flashbacks are a absolutely terrible tool to flesh-out characters and is mostly used when the writer is lazy or untalented or both. It can be ok, if well integrated, but in anime it's a very over-used tool and in Joker Game it's definitely not needed.

The first 2 episodes were there to introduce the characters, if not there'll be a lot of questions like ¿Who is this Yuuki guy? ¿Why is there a different guy each episode? ¿Why are the episodes in different places and years? Either way if you saw the end of the last chapter it showed the bad military guys from the first two chapters plotting something against the organization so there'll be some main plot of some sorts and we'll see them together again.

Since when do spies work in groups? It's obvious they'll be sent to different missions

Why would you drop an anime that you gave a 6/10? Better than average.
