''My blogs"
150th anime: Memories - It's a collection of 3 short movies made by
different directors. While all of them feature a nice idea and are
quite original for the medium they diverge in their quality. The first
one "Magnetic rose" being the best one in my opinion followed by
the second movie which is called I believe "Stink Bomb" and than
lastly by "Cannon fodder". I'd say all of them worth a watch tho.
24/05/19: Finished the anime "Run with the wind"
let me just say, it's awesome. to explain why I'd need a lot of space
and a whole review.
My Rating system (not done yet)
All the ratings are going to be gradually updated
OKAY so, I realized I have to make a rating system for the anime I watch
and start seriously rating them. Its actually quite hard to think of a system
to rate anime as objective as possible and still
make it feel like its my individual list and not somebody elses.
it means it has to be on one hand objective and on the other be effected
to some extent by my personal views and enjoyment (not to much tho)
the rating should also be adjusted to every anime by what its trying to achieve.
it means how good the characters are wont matter as much to a more
abstract show which the characters maybe don't even speak in for example something like cat soup compared to a character driven show.
This are the factors my rating system is going to be based on:
Plot + Writing - 4 points. I'm not only speaking about how good the
plot is because sometimes its irrelevant, it depends on the show, i'm actually speaking about how good the writing is.
Enjoyment - 2 points. This is were it gets more subjective
Soundtrack + Animation - 2 points
Characters - 2 points
Having a point/meaning- Actually good art has to have a point/meaning. I cant give something actually a 10/10 score unless it actually has this final thing that is actually having some kind of point, something standing behind it, some kind of idea or a deep thought.
Originality-Not talking about clichés and such, I'm talking about how original or
unoriginal it is. Does it bring anything new to the table? Is it going out of the box?
Screw ups - Basically anything that's illogical and is considered by me to be
a screw up. It can be writing wise, character wise or w/e. This category wont give points it can only reduce points. This Category is really important for me, every major screw up will cost the anime a point. I'm very picky so I will instantly drop anything that I find to many problems with.
Rules
1.So your probably asking yourself "wait why are there to many categories?"
that's because the 3 grayish categories wont effect the score unless I feel its necessary.
The first 2 categories will effect the score only in case it deserves a very high score and than it has to get a maximal score in this factors to stay this high (so basically in this case it can only reduce the score) or if its a low score but actually quite good in this 2 factors it can improve the score a little bit.
the last gray category will only reduce points if necessary (screw-ups).
2.Most anime will be rated as written here but the rating system will be
adjusted to every show that I will feel its not suited for.
3. The rating system will adjust to some extent to anime depends on its airing date and the goal it was trying to achieve.
Yeah, a little while back, when I came across the club I remembered someone asking about it so I looked through my forum history to find out who it was again.
for the most part, people on MAL don't know what they are talking about. I believe that the first two arcs in Ayakashi Japanese Horror Stories were excellent. Better than all of that Harem crap out there by far.
