I started watching anime very young, probably since 2005 when I was at middle-school. First anime watched was probably Love Hina, which actually was NOT for kids. But what really got me into being an anime lover was Death Note. This series gave me a new insight on anime, that anime can be serious and reflective. Since then I have been a huge anime/manga fans. Recent year, I have shifted to reading manga instead of watching animes because I found a lot of hidden gems that can't be made into anime due to low popularity.

I am actually a diverse reader. Currently, I love historical titles or manga that focuses on strategies (either about fighting battles or psychology). I also read the following genre:

Dark manga: Platinum End and To Your Eternity
Comedy: Back Street Girl and Hinamatsuri
Adventure: The Promised Neverland and Magi
Yaoi/BL that makes me mindblown
Sports: Ballroom e Youkoso, Eyeshield 21
Titles that are a bit erotic: Prison School, GTO

But I normally dislike reading romance, especially those involving triangle love. But if anyone could recommend some weird or mindblowing romance title, I would happily read it too. (In fact, I don't even know what I am looking for)
