Hi, I'm tidying up my friend list here on MAL since the majority of them just send random friend requests and never speak with you afterwards. I ended up accepting a lot of them, but there is no point if we don't interact.
So, there's is almost 3 years since the last time that you logged in, so I think that is safe to assume that you are not coming back to this website. Therefore I will be removing you from my friends list here on MAL. However, if you end up coming back, do get in touch with me, please. I really enjoyed the short conversations that we had before you quitting MAL.

Was thinking the same thing, I mean, I feel that is a great way to test what you know and to practice it, but if what you don't know much, I don't think that there's a point to it. I find really strange to see it recommend it as much as I do. For me, Youtube videos will do for now! Having lots of fun with them :3

I remember installing that app but since I never used it, I ended up uninstalling it!! T_T Going to try it today!!
I am aware of jisho.org and it probably is what I will be using the most. It seems really popular u.u

Btw, are you aware of Wanikani? It's a website to learn kanji and vocab. I honestly think that it's great. Not sure if it's something that you are interested in, or even need, considering that you have been studying for a while... But, I still recommend checking it out, just in case. It teaches you this much:

I finished Ballroom e Youkoso... It was so damn good! Nevermind what I said, I ended up loving it by the end. T^T
I just feel bad because I am avoiding manga since I want to only start manga in Japanese... Which it will take me years to be able to read stuff like this!! Not sure if I should rethink this!!

Wow, isn't that kinda quick? Only 2 years and you are already able to keep up with stuff from JLPT3. Have you done any JLPT btw?
Hmmm... I keep on hearing that watching anime without subtitles is really helpful. Since you use anime to practice, do you watch it without subtitles?
I started following some Japanese youtubers for listening practice... Do you watch any, and if so, do you have any recommendation? e.e
If you don't mind me asking, how do you study and what do you use?

As for me, I was using Genki but after 2 whole months, I finally realized that I should be learning the Kanji, which I totally wasn't... So, there I was halfway through the book and barely knew any kanji, so I started using Wanikani while putting Genki on-hold. I want to learn a bit more Kanji before going back to Genki. I feel like it will be better this way since I won't have to focus on Kanji and Vocab (at least not as much), and I can just focus on grammar.

If you have some tips to share, please do share them =w=)b

Have you ever experienced those times when you are full of hopes, dreams and excitement expecting the greatest anime that ever was created (may be exaggerating a little here haha) for then to be so disappointing that you even lose all hope in humanity? :')

It kinda seemed that would happen to you so I wanted to lower your expectations a bit... :'D I still think that it's a good anime, like you mentioned, the character design are great! I really like them :3 Though, this is my opinion but they usually have the bodies of characters bending a bit too much... It can be a little off-putting for some people. I don't think that it bothers me anymore though...

That seems pretty awesome :3 ... Is manga more common there? or your family just happened to read it?

I agree with you, they do make some SoL that I really enjoy :3 Like, Non Non Biyori or Tanaka-kun wa Itsumo Kedaruge. Both had these relaxing atmosphere and good comedy. Not extravagant and really sweet.
Though, they also have the tendency to make harems... Some I like, and others I don't ^^; For example, I did not enjoy Masamune-kun no Revenge or Strike the Blood while I enjoyed Oniichan dakedo Ai sae Areba Kankeinai yo ne!.
... and of course I also enjoy their Fate/kaleid =w=)b
Plus they also can make more "serious" anime like Kokoro Connect or Tasogare Otome x Amnesia, which were both really good imo.

Ps: Also, I'm somewhat excited to watch Mitsuboshi Colors from them that will start on Winter. Despite me not knowing the source material I feel like that will suit their style well.

Hmmmm.... Ballroom e Youkoso is a typical sports anime with the biggest difference being the sport in question. Characters and story are... I don't want to say "generic" but it's what you expect from a sports anime.
... and it seems that people kept on complaining because of the lack of animation on the show... I feel like I'm lowering your motivation, which wasn't my intention at all!! I just wanted to give you some sort of "introduction" ^^; ... Still has been extremely fun to watch.

Ah, I also kinda do that. If there's a familiar voice in an anime that I started I usually go check who it is and which other characters the voice actor has played. Though, I forget right away about them ^^;

I have watched some sort of stage presentation/play with some voice actors of Working!! a while back (which was phenomenal) and I have been intending to get more into it since then... and failing quite miserably haha So, if you have any, some tips would be great
