I'm sad this quote is so relatable. Ofc I'm the shallow one.
I swear on my honor, I will one day read everything type-moon has to offer. It will take years, but I want to be a certified fate fan.

I always make at least a note on my thoughts of an anime in tags or/and comments, you can look it up if some rating seems weird. Tbh they all seem weird after I lowered the marks in May.
I had to make categories in 1/10 rating because some of them are worse than others. Those with a tag "[because of cringe]" are just unbearably unpleasant to watch because of, well, how cringy they are. The "[because it is shit]" tagged anime, on the other hand, are much worse than those mentioned before; if I could, I'd give them a 0/10.
I also have "[comedy gold]" tag for anime with boosted ratings because of their humor and "[top]" for my 3 (4?) favorite anime.
By the way, my ratings are not always true to what I actually think of an anime. For example, I really like Fate/UBW, but I rated all of its parts quite roughly - cuz that's something I just needed to do in order to stay somehow objective. Hell, even one of my all-time favorites got a rating of 8, because it's a bit of a clusterfuck. In addition, those MAL words corresponding with each grade (1/10 - appalling, 2/10 - horrible, etc.) don't matter to me. I mean, damn, I'm not enough of a madman to call Kizumonogatari I "good".
OK I just went through the list and what the actual fuck is happening there. Like, Mirai Nikki and Akudama Drive having the same score as Great Pretender and Vivy? What have I been thinking, really... Anyway, it's broken beyond repair. And then apparently I'm MUCH less harsh towards comedy anime... damn.
Milestones (also a diary):
~~24.12.2020 - 1st completed anime (Death Note)
~~13.04.2021 - 100 completed titles (NGE: Death and Rebirth)
~~19.04.2021 - 1000 watched episodes (Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song, ep 4 [Ensemble for Polaris - Our Promise])
~~09.05.2021 - Finally, it has happened. I found "the anime". My new top1. This date indicates a big change in my ratings, as I'm lowering every one of them by 1 point. Because of that, there might be a lot of inconsistencies between ratings and what I said in the comments for each anime. I don't care enough to correct them. (Great Pretender)
~~06.11.2021 - It's been a while, huh? It all started with binge-watching fate. I had so much free time in May so it kinda just happened. And then I came across the VN. And then Tsukihime remake came out so I started reading the original... yeah, that's how it's been. I don't regret a thing, though!
As for the milestone: I found my new all-time favorite book. And let me say it - I don't take this shit lightly. It really is the best work I have ever consumed in my life. What's the title, you might say? Tsukihime - Hisui route. I know it is not a book, but a VN. However, just compare it to a normal book and, for example, Danganronpa. Which one is more similar to Tsukihime? Exactly. So be quiet.
Also, for anyone saying Hisui route is not a standalone part - yeah, right. I wanted to praise it the most so I mentioned it alone, but I love the other side Far Side routes too.
~~24.12.2021 - It's been... a year. A pretty miserable one, but a year nevertheless. And what better way of finishing it than with three different animes AND a visual novel? While Mieruko-chan and Senpai ga Uzai Kouhai no Hanashi might've not been the greatest series of all time, the Guilty Crown's OVA was horrendous and Kagetsu Tohya was highly repetitive and boring, these are four different series all right. And so, I conclude the first year of my journey to not ever getting a GF.
~~25.12.2021 - 200 completed titles (Carnival Phantasm)
~~24.12.2022 - Guess who's back? Back again. Ye. No, not that Ye, take that back! Aw, anyway. Third year of watching anime is coming to a close. Nothing important, one would say - yeah. But to me, that's a date to come back. Guess it's kinda miserable having fucking japanese cartoons as your life turning point. Anyway, only thirty titles this year! Albeit longer than usual, that's not a lot. I got addicted to quick dopamine like league of legends and youtube shorts. Man, it sucks. But I'm working on it! I started being more open about my "liking" of anime as well. Like I read mangas commuting and stuff. Sounds disgustingly stupid. Yet, I'm feeling free. Not without a care, but caring less. Oh and I guess I'm an adult now? Man time to ditch this shit and find a gf.
