First fascinated by the world of Japanese anime as a kid, thanks to Juuni Senshi Bakuretsu Eto Ranger (as far as memory serves).

Eventually warmed to Jpop music and, conversely, the anime where the music by favorite bands were theme songs to. Bump of Chicken is the eternal favorite, apparently.

Grew to the serious, more... 'mature' side of the medium as a teenager with titles Honey & Clover, and Bokura ga Ita.

Avoids the moe and mahou shoujo genres whenever possible, and generally favors suspense, sci-fi, seinen drama and isekai plots.

Remembers Fukuyama Jun the most among seiyu for his varied voice acting roles.

Last and definitely not least, an avid follower of all works Shinkai Makoto... They never fail to touch the soul and force a tear or two.
