Exactly the same opinion as you about the third arc of Vinland Saga it disappointed me so much and it ruins everything behind for me, while the first two arc's are in the best arc's I have read, it's so disappointing, because the manga had potential.
Good review, because this is the big problem of the manga but most of the fans and others are ignoring it and pretending to appreciate the continuity.
