Yea!! I really enjoyed K-On, makes you feel like it’s a real friendship or that how friendship is suppose to be... I wish it wouldn’t have ended... would love to see them grow as a band and follow them through University. Maybe where they have to make a choice to stay at University or follow their dreams of making it big as a band. I wish there was more lol
Kuuchuu Buranko was indeed very interesting; I'm not a stranger to surreal works, but this was also quite something. A deranged paranoia of art-shifts and alternations of different animation styles (e.g rotoscoping and processed live action shots), that can make it much of a hit-or-miss for people. As for the plot, let's just say that it was a mental experience (pun intended), plus catharsis galore.
S1 might not be up to your standards visually but S2 improves. There is also the manga if you want to fall back on that.

Speaking of stuff you brought up in the thread, I'm a big Magma fan, and interested in the more obscure zeuhl acts. Are you into prog otherwise? In that case, or otherwise, I highly recommend Arbeit Macht Frei by Area . Area are a lot more intense than most of their italian contemporaries, and their singer is KICK ASS.
Do you have any DnB/jungle recommendations, other than Dilinja? I love the sound of the genre, but in terms of actual good records/tracks I am sorely lacking DX This one's a gem, and one of the few that aren't from a 90s game OST, though you might have stumbled upon it while searching on RYM or something similar.
