Okay first of all, regarding your Fairy Tail review
Fairy Tail is one of those animes that start off really well but then turns to.. err... shit. Or at least borderline shit I should say?
What first attracted me to Fairy Tail was it's lightheartedness, humor, cool action, decent plot, and cool adventures. Watching it was very entertaining.
But after awhile, everything became predictable. The humor is still there, but the plot and fighting scenes turned childish. Without those two elements, the whole series practically fell apart and it felt as if everything in this series had NO REAL MEANING to it. Every battle is won with the "power of friendship." No one dies. Everything always works out fine and no one is harmed. Same characters always win. Rinse and repeat. Rinse and repeat. That is Fairy Tail. There are a bunch of rage-inducing moments that I have watched in this series.
But in all honestly, had the series ended before the Oracion Seis Arc, I would have given it a 10.
Without taking the lack of detail into account which could have been expanded on a lot, especially after 175 episodes, the rinse and repeat section is more or less correct, I only remember one moment when anyone got "angry" and that was Natsu, just before they recruited Wendy for their guild.
Although, regarding the last part of your review, it ended because they were too close to the manga and waited for it to get a bit further ahead, with the Fairy Tail (2014) just starting up after 6 episodes, it'll carry on through all the arcs (I think) so you shouldn't down-rate a series for that. Although, it would of annoyed a lot of people the way it ended, in the middle of the grand magic games and all.
