Introduction to Anime
I got introduced to anime in my last year of uni (Near the end of 2007). I took a class about Japanese culture through anime. I have to admit it was a great subject.
In the last 1.5 years i have managed to watch a fair bit of anime (at least the old stuff).
Current Anime Status
I don't get a lot of time to watch older anime titles however i try to keep up with a majority of new ones.
My Anime selection
I have to admit unlike when i started, i am a little more selective with my anime lately, probably because i don't have time to watch everything.
I sill try to watch at least one of two episodes of most anime or read about them on blogs to get an idea about the story and whether there is any point in me watching it.
My Anime Taste
My anime tastes have dramatically changed since i first started watching anime. I used to like harem comedy followed by romance but now i am more into action/comedy or Thrillers. I also like feelgood anime and more serious darker anime (Eg Darker than Black).
Usually i don't say no to an anime if people recommend it to me as long as i have the time to watch at least one or two episodes.
Something interesting about my self
*Japanese
I am currently learning Japanese (i can understand some simple verbs, nouns and sentence patterns). however i am no where near being able to watch an anime and understand everything. (i can understand sentences of words here and there).
I can read Hiragana and Katakana, and this year i hope to reinforce my Katakana and start Kanji.
I have been learning Japanese as a short course at Sydney University.
*Motorcycle
I took the decision end of last year to learn to ride a motorcycle.
My pre-learner exam is in March. Hopefully i pass.
My Moto in life
"The moto i abide by is to try anything at least once"
People who laugh or berate others because they have a unique hobby are lower than cockroaches. Every person is entitled to when they want. Such is life.
Peace everyone!

I guess the mood greatly influences one's enjoyment. Mushishi, in my opinion, is best watched after a fast-paced anime. Hope you enjoy it :)
Depends, the original FS/N was poorly adapted it seems.
Yeah, SnK is quite well liked, though I do tend to get into more specific genre's nowadays :P
And yay for bio's!
I see you just recently finished Utawarerumono. How was it? It's been in my on-hold list for so long I forgot which episode I'm at. Also, what you dropped Mushishi?! O__O Well I guess it does start off really slow but it's one of those series that slowly pick up steam :p
