FINALLY got a call this morning from a doctor they will allow to work on me, got a little happy, then I look him up and his specialty is hands....what part of broken humerus bone do they not get?? I just hope he can fix me, or not so nice Laurie will have to make an appearance.

And now I have had a setback. A screw has come loose from the metal plate and my bone is off of it as well, so now I need another surgery. But it isn't going very fast because the adjuster and the doctor's office of the primary one can't agree/find someone to fix me. I don't want some general practice guy working on it, so it needs to get resolved soon.

I wonder if you are in Japan now...if so, you better be having a wonderful time. Japan at Christmas time-I wonder if it anywhere now how it is portrayed in anime.

No, I don't think you know this person, but we are friends. seems like Kamiyama has gotten really busy with life as I have not heard from her in ages. but then med school can do that to a person.

I fell at work, landed pretty hard since I tripped over something and was carrying stuff. on Dec. 9, it will be three months since my surgery, and the doctor who did it said 3-4 months to heal the bone, but the nerve can take way longer to come back. I wish it would hurry, because I like having the use of my right hand.

I suppose even working in your chosen profession, that you went to school for so long can become a little dull, and routine, but yes, you have nice perks! Nice itinerary too. I demand pictures! lol I don't demand, but you know. I know a few of my online friends that have now gone to Japan-good for you guys. I hope that you enjoy yourself too the fullest, you deserve it ^_^

Not only do I miss the friends I made there ( I do still talk to you and another member regularly on MAL) it is hard to replace MT when trying to find series. Many sites do not have the same standards as they did, and acquiring whole volumes is a bit more difficult. I often have to get a chapter at a time. I do read less than I once did so I am not as hard hit as others were when it collapsed.

hanging out at home, doing my exercises that were given to me by therapists, walking, watching anime , and doing what chores I feel like/up too doing lol. could have been so much worse, I could have hit my head, so that's a big bright side to consider! ^_^

Well I wasn't watching much at all, but now I have more free time due to being off of work. I fell at work and fractured my arm, so am am at home. Hopefully I can go back to work soon.

Yes, the demise of MT was a very sad thing especially how it happened, but it's done and over with. It was very sad, not just for the memories, but it is hard to replace.

Yes, work has been kicking my ass with the overnighters, 3 am shifts etc, but hopefully that will end for now. I am still very grateful to have gotten a job ^_^

Hmmm Another is a pretty decent series, but I think that at 12 episodes, the ending might not be desirable . As for manga, I am all over the place reading this and that. Too many publishing series at one time can give you a headache. ^_^

Dude! All of those math terms gave me a headache ^_^ You know how much I like higher math.........But you are one person who does need it, so I will leave it all to you. Highest math I use in daily life is fractions while cooking ,and baking. It is already January and it seemed like Sept. just a short while ago, so the end is close for you! Hang in there my friend.
