20 y.o hopeless student
I've actually only started getting interested in anime recently but I've always loved manga and I'm starting to expand my genres more. I began with generic shoujo (I loved Fruits Basket and cried every time Tokyopop released a new volume hahahaha) then the homolust years fell upon me and now I'm reading more shounen titles which is funny as I had incorrectly presumed that the genre itself would be devoid of content interesting to me and I've now realised that I'm absolute idiot. I keep reading sports manga now as well which I find terribly amusing as I'm about as athletic as a corpse
My tags:
Don't take them terribly seriously, I only tag by themes after I have more than a few relevant entries and they usually reflect something that I am interested in or have personal experience with. Most are self explanatory (genre's etc.) but here's a few definitions of some
- year 24 - generally this refers to works by the Year 24 group however I've incuded a few other titles that were released around the same time period just because it's easier fo me to categorise them as such
- dance - this contains dancing! any type of dance! ballet, jazz, street, ball room anything - please give me recommendations I will love you forever
- emotionally draining - do not start reading this unless you have time and emotions to spare because it will wear you out and/or you will be stuck reading it until you either complete it or someone forcibly prevents you from continuing
- SPACE - the title is set predominately in space and likely to also be set in the future
- kids - features children, usually as side characters
- historical - title set in a time period before the 1950's
- disability - title focuses on or significantly includes a character/s with some type of disability
- bdsm - this has a 99% chance of being a mature title (but not hentai) so read with care, could be a homo or hetero relationship~
- homo - boy's love title with the romance being the main focus and point of the story. some titles I don't tag with this although they have BL content e.g Zankoku na Kami ga Shihai Suru because although there is a large focus on a relationship the objective of the story is to show the consequences of abuse rather than the development of a romantic relationship
- girls love - tagging this separately to distinguish between the different homo types. girls love, shoujo ai, yuri etc.
- fashion - title is about any part of the fashion industry e.g designing, sewing, modeling
- wtf did i just read - a special tag that refers to my feelings of confusion/disgust/shock/curiosity at the perversion of the human mind etc. after reading the relevant titles
