No offence mein friend, but I believe that the only reason that you posted that "It all sucks!" gif on your profile was because you're butthurt from all the bad anime released these past 4 years. Not that I disagree with you entirely; I too believe that majority of the aforementioned anime are mediocre.

However, I'm here to enlighten you on the truth that there have been some good shows in the allotted time.

Hey, sorry for the late reply. I just felt as if Hanasaku Iroha gave me more meanings than most of the anime out there. I mean, the animation quality, music, realism, and execution of the plot was very well done. The character designs seem attractive yet precise enough to retain the realism. As for the character developments, their interactions were very realistic as they were touching and meaningful. Overall, their realstionship was well written with deep and realistic emotions. This series clearly reflect realism. I would highly recommend watching it.

Hanasaku Iroha for me is the very definition of a solid and good show all round. Honestly, there isn't much wrong with it from any angle. Even before a Re-watch, it was in my top 30 and an 9/10 no less.

It kept throwing in new things, new circumstances and new endeavors for Ohana and co. to overcome. There's hardly a reason for me to give it any less than a 9 seeing as I enjoyed it MUCH MORE this time around and it was already in my top 30 even before my Re-watch. It was already a 9/10 as well. Everything was consistent and well done from start to finish. It was realistic with an excellent character cast (Really good cast all round with diverse personalities). Great drama and development. It felt like a real life story which is how a SOL series should be and there isn't much really to nitpick about. I seriously think it's underrated. At least, it sold like crazy in Japan. The BDs sold like 30K or so. As for Ohana, she is Just treat really. Anime needs more protagonists like that. I felt that the visuals, voice actors and the OST were all wonderful too. So yeah, real value right there.
