Perfect! I don't mind paying for quality shit, especially related to Japanese, so I'm going to get Japanese, and Minna No Nihongo, J Grammar +, and particles 101, pronto, they seem RAD.
And yeah, I bought the ankimobile app and am using it with Anki 2.3 (think that's what it is now) and its working fine on my Ipad.
And for Downcast app, I use it to download the daily tokyo news from NHK and listen in my car/when I'm doin somethin else in the background. I think its important to listen to a ton of stuff made for native level speakers to expose myself to it daily, you know? But essentially it's just a podcast manager/downloader, and you can get ANY podcast from Japan, all sorts of random crazy shit made for natives.
So shitty that you lost your initial post, damn! Thanks for all the info, like I said earlier, I love learning and hearing how others approach learning Japanese, it can be crazy helpful.
Hey man, if you don't mind, let me know the apps you find most helpful learning Japanese, I'd love to check em out, as the only one's I use are AnkiMobile flashcards and Downcast to download NHK new podcasts from Japan. You have a similar studying style as me, I think, so the apps you find super helpful I probably will too! Lemme know dude.
