The Slice of Life Club will be hosting a Cute Competition for the next seven weeks. It's pretty much going to be the same thing as our Moe Competition, except for the fact that characters from overly popular series weren't allowed in the contest (since they always win). It's time to give other cute girls a chance to shine. There are four different groups with 32 girls in each group. One girl from each group will go on as a finalist to face off against each other in two championship rounds. Our winner and finalists will get a special card edition in their honor and a spot on the club's layout.

As you can see, we have quite the long lineup of girls for our first round. Half of them will be eliminated after this round, though, so please vote to help us decide who stays and who goes!
P.S. Due to the club having so many members, we aren't able to send out newsletters to all of our members. If you would like to receive newsletters from the Slice of Life Club, post here.
Our newsletters include notifications on when our competition rounds start, club event information, information on our monthly banner contest (new feature starting in September), news about updates and changes to the club, etc.
P.S.S We are in need of active card makers!
We do a few monthly editions and we really need some more card makers to help out with those. If you are interested in applying, click here.
Hello, everyone! I'm sending out this newsletter to inform everyone of a competition that the Slice of Life Club is currently hosting! If you're interested in voting on character polls, cute girls and/or winning a profile picture or banner, then keep reading!
The Slice of Life Club is hosting a Moe Competition! The competition will go on from now until September. I've split all of the characters up into four different groups. Each group will come down to a finalist and all four finalists will face off in a championship round. In total, there will be five different voting rounds (including the championship round). As promised back in November, the winner of the competition will be featured on the club layout and the finalists will have a special card edition made in their honor.
For additional information on the Moe Competition and match schedules, click here!
But wait, there's more! Are you interested in winning a profile picture or a banner? If so, >click here< to find out how!
The Slice of Life Club is currently looking to hire some more admins!
If you'd be interested in helping us make card editions or sending out invites for the club, please click here to apply!
ahhhh, sorry for replying so late haha, I usually just get on to update my lists, haven't checked my profile in a while. hahah woot yup lovely complex was the best~ still trying to find a romcom just as good but there just isn't :c
I've been so lazy with replies(nice double reply btw lol)
Yeah man, have a good summer too, thank god it's here c: And hey, I went to my first convention last month, it was pretty awesome. I'm underage though, so only could go to dealer's hall and artist alley, but still got a bunch of cool stuff c:
Eh my bad, been busy with testing and stuff. I see you still haven't finished yosuga. lol It's good in the sense that it's one of the few animes where the sex scenes are somewhat meaningful towards the story. But overall, it's debatable.
And wow, your list is even better than mine now. The way the picture zooms out is pretty neat c:
ok, if it will be easy
but my english is very bad
it is easy to write because you can think about grammar and check words
i'm a little busy now. i have a session right now, exams are very close because it is a last session. i'll write later, okay?
I wish I did :/ I tried to edit my own Sakurasou themed one using their tutorial but it wasn't that good. Then somebody requested a Sakurasou themed one a few months later, so I just took it from the premade layouts.
You could take the same style as mine/similar style from a premade layout and swap the background picture and stuff.
And how's Yosuga no Sora? It's a pretty...unique watch I guess. lol
It's okay I don't have a Skype account. I totally agree I really love the characters designs from Clannad it's a cute anime and I hope you'll love as much as I do. ^_^
No problem ^_^, though if you enjoy Dramatic Romances I do highly recommend migrating in to shoujo/josei manga, somehow out of the few shoujo they adapt, they never adapt the good ones, but shoujo/josei manga by far make for the best romances (maybe seinen too ... but alot of seinen's drama pisses me off since it's a string of never ending misunderstandings until right before the end when they finally hook up and then "the end")
yo, I know we havent talked in a while but I did send you a provate message with my skype name in it so that you can add me there. I would love to talk over skype because its easier for me
Anyways kokoura was a really nice one it kind of reminded me of kokoro connect, if you like anime that is in a school setting with a twist (much like kokoro connect) then you will love this one
also kore wa zombe desu ka (is this a zombie) is a good one too but I didnt care too much for it because it had a lot of echii and gag humor in it but other than that I liked it
(mostly for the romance between the main guy and the main girl)
also i wanna recommend Maoyuu Maou Yuusha to you which is one I just watched as it just finished airing (I dont like watching anime when they are still airing) and i loved it a lot! That was probably due to how much it reminded me of spice and wolf (Ookami to Koushinryou) which is one of my favorite anime ^.^ <3
so again go ahead and add me on skype if you can, im

K so as I actually haven't watched too many romance/drama (got in to that once I started reading manga, so have quite a few manga that are very good, but unfortunately most good romance anime don't get an anime adaptation) but anyways I could recommend:
- Ano Natsu de Matteru (Shounen, it is by no means what I would consider a "good" romance, however it does have a somewhat similar set-up, the tone however is quite different (not nearly as dramatic) just saw it on your PTW list so thought I should mention it)
- Lamune (Shounen, probably the only anime I ever watched in one sitting, it's kind of a more straightforward romance however I believe it does have a love triangle in it, the romance is also sort of "more conclusive" in that they do start going out before the last episode)
- Kareshi Kanojo no Jijou (Shoujo, saw this on your PTW, I personally haven't seen it however this is (to my understanding) a pretty dramatic anime, might be something you would quite like)
- Maison Ikkoku (Seinen, the tone you get from this manga, isn't exactly uncommon since pretty much all seinen romances from this era are like this, but you may enjoy the drama used in it, I can't be sure though since it isn't ground breaking, but older seinen romances are usually quite long and have this sort of dramatic and "on edge" type of drama that focuses heavily on "the chase")
- Nodame Cantabile (Josei, This isn't actually too dramatic, nor is it very much of a romance until later seasons, I just mentioned this since it was one of the few romance anime I still respect after reading manga, also I think they did an amazing job with the female MC, overall though this is actually probably better described as a romantic comedy, actually one of the funniest anime I have ever seen surprisingly)
- Onegai Teacher (Seinen, extremely similar to Ano Natsu de Matteru, made by the same anime company, created by the same person, the plot is roughly similar (older girl that is also an alien crash lands on earth and falls for the male MC), I personally liked Onegai Teacher better for various reasons (basically a stronger and more in depth plot), contains similar types of drama to Suzuka/True Tears although not as strong if I remember correctly, also somewhat interesting since this is (I think) the only anime I have ever seen where it is a female teacher lead falling in love with a male student)
- Onegai Twins (Shounen, a spin-off of Onegai Teacher, not really as good but features a love triangle involving two sisters, so the drama generated from that is a bit higher possible, wasn't great but might be enjoyable for you)
- White Album (Seinen, Ok so ... this series ... I usually hate harems but while I didn't like this anime personally it wasn't cause of a retarded harem set-up, this series might be one of the more romantically dramatic series I have seen as it is about a guy, who loves his girlfriend very much, but once she becomes an idol he has to deal with all sorts of insecurities as well as is sort of semi black mailed in to keeping a distance from his girlfriend by her manager (bad rep for an idol to be seen w/ boyfriend), it actually was kind of dark and I just couldn't stand the dark tone tbh)
Anyways I would also recommend probably sticking with Myself ; Yourself, Clannad, ef - a tale of memories and Kimi ga Nozomu Eien since they all should also be similar to what you are looking for, especially Kimi ga Nozomu Eien from what I have heard.
Anyways if you are interested in picking up manga (honestly is a much better medium for serious romances) feel free to let me know and I can make a list of some good manga to start off with (though might take awhile been pretty busy with school lately)
