You would think that it would be stressful, but finals don't really hurt anyone unless their grades are borderline. At least, that's the way it is at my school considering how much of percent finals are for your semester grade.
Haha. Thanks. XP
I'm thinking Biomedical Engineering with a minor in biology or biochemistry, but I don't know. My friends keep telling me to think a bit more seriously on what I really like, though. They keep telling me I should be doing something in anime or entertainment considering how much of it they hear from me. But, that's just wishful thinking on both my part and theirs.
That's awesome. New York is amazing; I've been several times.
At least you live somewhere interesting like Florida (my part of Kentucky is rather static)! But, I can see how you might want to get a change of pace.
You should try for missionary work overseas. I did some volunteer work (on my own, not with a church) whilst I was overseas in the Philippines. Seeing as it is a predominantly Catholic country (and me being a Catholic myself), I worked some with religious affairs and general acts of kindness. It's an eye-opener.
Oh, by the way. Merry Christmas! I meant to say it yesterday (cause I didn't think that I would be able to say it today). But, I hope you had a good one. This year it was just me and my family of three (plus the dog). It was a quaint celebration. XP
Midterms? Psh. What are those?
Just kidding! As a senior who has done consistently well on standardized tests and represented the school well, I don't have to take midterms or finals. It's a reward from our school. :D
And the speech tournament? Oh, I can't remember which one I was talking to you about. We've already had three since then. I've broken (gotten into finals) once, and then the other times I've been really close. But, I'm not consistent, so there's always one round that kills my scores. Haha.
I'm not too busy to be honest. My parents are definitely worried about me getting a full ride to some place. A lot of places are offering me full tuition and stipends, but we'd rather not have to pay anything at all.
But, I'm generally a rather mellow person. Stuff like that doesn't really worry me too much.
But, on terms of anime, I'm finally getting to clearing up my list. I can't wait for the Winter 2014 season!! There aren't that many I'm really going to watch actively, so I can finally start on some older anime. XP
As for next year, hopefully I'll be accepted into my dream college. That way I'd get to study the majors of my choice, but also be with one of my best friends since I moved to my high school. One of my friends got rejected to a place, so I'm a bit nervous. But, whereas we're equals academically, I'm stronger extra-curricular and leadership wise, so hopefully I'll fare better.
I was also thinking of applying for a job at a local place I frequent, but I'm not sure if I'll be able to. >~< I know that some of my friends would pull for me though.
What about Jessy-chan? What are your hopes and dreams for 2014?
Ah man, I keep forgetting that you and Ichigo-san are adults now. XP
I'm sorry to hear that. I'm glad that you're feeling better! And don't worry, there's plenty of good men out there! You'll meet the perfect someone. C:
Yeah, but I'm finally turning in all my stuff. I'm just finishing up supplement essays and the lot. I have a Speech tournament tomorrow, and I'm trying to push away reality by pretending that I have a memorized and ready piece. lol
Oh, and sorry for replying so late! I've been so busy, and so all my updates I've been doing from my phone. And whenever I'm on the computer, and end up just lying down on my bed and watching anime like a chump.
Oh my goodness! It's been so long!
Wow. I think we actually took a break from MAL around the same time. I came back about a year earlier though. XP
Geh. I'm a high school senior now...and my life is almost hell trying to do college apps, extra-curriculars, and school. Not to mention we have to fit in that anime and manga. XP XO
Other than that, I'm doing awesome. How have you been? Did you just stop using MAL, or did you stop watching anime all together? Because I flat out stopped watching anime.
Sorry for the spam but this is to get our club going again after a very long hiatus.
You can Subscribe Here if you want me to send you more newsletters later on.
Until we get more members and those members are active the Admins will still be voting on Arist of the Month but I will still try to get the members to recommend the artists.
We really do hope to have more LE/SE cards open but we'll need more help. We'll be opening up a Staff Needed thread soon. So if you're interested check back. :)
Hello~ This is a message from Anime Kingdom. I know the club isn't very active, but i'm going to try to get it active again. To get it active again, i have created a thread called "News Letter Sign Up." If you like to recieve news letter for updates on the club, cards, polls, then please sign up here
