yo (: i saw your review on ai no kusabi, and was just wondering, where did you find the books to read? the translated versions of the original volumes? i would really like to know, i just cant seem to find them online at all ;D

Well, it's quite slow and boring at the beginning. It gets a bit more interesting by the end and has quite an unexpected outcome. Well, I could recommend it to someone who's got plenty of time. But if there's little time, I'd rather recommend something else. The characters are not quite likable, so people tend to make fuss about the anime itself. All in all, everything is fair to middling, not too interesting. Definitely not for those who prefer sweet stuff, 'cause it's not a happy story at all. I'd give it from 5 to 6 points, I suppose. :)

Hiya! Took a glance at your list and I felt like giving you a few recommendations.

First, Oreimo, which I see is on your Plan To Watch list, is quite good. I've been a big fan since it first aired and I'm definitely bummed to see it coming to an end very soon.

Also, I was a tad surprised to see with your tastes that you hadn't checked out Chihayafuru yet. That's a show where I never saw myself being a fan, as in it's a "sports" anime about a card game I'd never heard of, but wow, is it good. Great characters, lots of surprising twists and turns that you don't really see coming when it comes to the game and tournaments and such, and also the card game itself which is far more interesting than I gave it credit for to begin with. There's way more strategy than "hit the right card as fast as you can". I love the depth of it and I happy wrapped up the second season just last night. Hoping, like many others, that there's a third season soon to come.

I guess that's good enough for now. Cool thing I noticed was that a lot of the shows you have planned to watch are actually shows I've already seen, and vice-versa, a bunch of shows I'd like to check out you've seen too. Maybe we could recommend to one another which are worth watching and such. :)
