Hey there, this is Me
In the depths of darkness, man often finds solace in the illusions he creates, yet he screams in fear of his own illusions, forgetting they are mere reflections meant to live and give!
5 Centimeters Per Second
What is there not to like about this movie, absolutely outstanding score and animation, among some of the best Shinkai works I've ever seen. It might be my favorite anime movie ever (and thats saying quite a bit). Honestly I can see how some people can be bored during this movie, but every part of it is so bitter-sweet and heartfelt, it captures the feeling of growing up just flawlessly. As time goes on I relate more and more heavily with this movie, until it's gotten to the point where I almost tear up thinking about the ending. All of the "what could've been's" in life, every missed opportunity fate throws at one, it's all captured in this movie, and I'd honestly recommend it to anyone.
Violet Evergarden
It made me cry every episode, while watching it I could tell how much Violet was growing each episode. all her interactions had impact on the story and people in the story. The art through out the anime is beautiful, they turn to darker colors for sad scenes and bright vibrant colors to make a drastic effect that just made me feel good and cry at the same time. This is one of my most favorite animes to date. And the story as well as what Violet had to go through is so rich and deep that I get engrossed in watching it and don't even notice the time slipping by. All in all it is a must watch for anyone out there and I highly recommend it for when you just need a good cry.
One Piece
Really, One Piece is an absolute masterpiece. It is unmistakably Eiichiro Oda's best accomplishment. One Piece has an absolutely terrific, thought out, and deep storyline, well-thought-out characters with unforgettable backstories, and extraordinary worldbuilding that will blow anyone away. This is true for me so much, in fact, that the first time I got into it, I just couldn't stop. I ended up finishing the ongoing 1,000-episode anime (or at least catching up to it) in merely 4 months. Can't help but brag about it. The soundtrack-- amazing. Devil fruits-- overpowered and super interesting. Story line-- oh my God, it is so good.
I definitely recommend it if you have the time to watch it 24/7 because you, for sure, won't be able to stop. It is the best anime.
