You need to reread my last statement -- then, you'll know embarrassment.

If I can analyze/review a particular anime with an artistic flourish or a comedic angle, then it's in my best interest to do so. There are plenty of MAL users who simply recount the major plot points of a particular anime, without attempting to elucidate the meaning behind the work. I, on the other hand, examine the intended meaning, while giving the reader some entertainment along the way.

Obfuscation is a matter of perception. To a person who understands a myriad of sesquipedalian words, my thoughts/opinions would be quite obvious.

Just a friendly reminder, improve the grammar and sentence structure of your Kanokon review before you start handing out "advice."

You are correct that my earlier statement was referring to personification instead of anthropomorphism (essentially the same, but different enough to be noteworthy).

A discussion over semantics may be your cup of tea -- which is fine -- but I'm not inclined to continue the conversation over the use of "sagacity" any further. You have your thoughts, and I have mine.

And an anime cannot display wisdom through its actions?

Leaves do not dance in the wind, but it's more artful than simply stating they moved around randomly with the slight breeze.

Sagacious: acutely insightful or wise.

Saibi -- Insightful (sagacious) examination of religion run amok.
LotGH -- Wise (sagacious) understanding of politics, history, and military tactics.
Ping Pong The Animation -- Insightful (sagacious) analysis of the psychological consequences of competitive athletics.

I surmise that you are conflicted with the use of the word "sagacity" in reference to a non-human entity (i.e. the show Boogiepop). But this is perfectly acceptable, considering that anthropomorphism is used as a literary device in countless works.

Wrong.
