ah, sorry for the late reply! i saw you comment and i was going to get back to you after i saw it a couple of days ago but it slipped my mind T.T

oh really? i didn't like the first season of sao. the arc change completely threw me off so that's why i stopped, haha.

i haven't been watching much lately to be honest, i feel like i've hit a bit of a lull. i started kimi to boku a week and some ago, but i never got back to it. i've been watching snk all over again. i somehow always end up there.

hmm...i haven't been watching anything spectacular lately, but i just finished a yaoi so there's that. xD i'm rewatching attack on titan though, and i forgot how sad that anime is, goodness. .__.

ah, i see. i feel terrible for being so shallow about nge cuz i really wanted to see an epic battle between the evas the angels and they never explained anything and i was so sad that i invested so much time into something not explained. .__.
i have yet to watch the end of evangelion, which is said to be an alternate ending? :O

but i was really happy at the end when him and chisaki became a thing because i never liked her and hikari together at all. and i have to agree, when he got ena, i was so happy for him too!

i never got into dbz, but of course as like any kid i watched pokemon. wasn't so life changing though; if anything, pokemon made me DOUBT anime.

i recently finished nge, actually. i couldn't say that it impacted me the way it did for you though, but i can see it's appeal and promise for other people. :D

that's so cool! studio work always amazes me because i can never see how everything is put together, so that's rather impressive.

i've always disliked childish characters, so manaka was a o____O -___- character for me. like hikari. why. miuna is RIGHT THERE WHY DO YOU LIKE MANAKA SO MUCH.

i never actually used to pay attention to animation too much since i'm relatively new to watching anime, so i wasn't quite sure how justified my judgement is for nagi no asukara's animation. i'm glad to see that it really is as good as i thought it was, hehe.

for me the only good thing about knb is the intensity of basketball. a single basketball game could span 4+ episodes, lolol. but here i am trying to find time to watch the second season now.



i mean, come on. this scenery ALONE is enough for me to wanna watch nagi no asukara again.
i need to stop comparing other anime's animation to nagi's because goddamn nagi's is on a whole other level.

no, it's fine! usually when i rewatch an anime, i change my score. or if i'm just going through my list, i could think "huh, this wasn't an 8, it was definitely a 6. or maybe a 7." and i'll go change it. i change my mind a lot, haha.

haha, i'm at the point where i don't wanna try anything new and i wanna go back to all of my favorites. i understand for sure. xP
OMG nagi no asukara. <3 i finished watching it through the first time a few days ago too, i absolutely loved it. the animation is stunning, i can't get over it! i feel back cuz i keep on comparing its animation to kuroko no basuke's, which is the anime that i started right after nagi. Dx

i thought there was romance because the the main guy was in love with the girl (i'm really bad at names, i'm sorry >.<) and then another girl had a thing for the main guy and the know it all guy had a thing for the dead girl, and it was a big mess i thought. :P

but your points make sense, anohana and steins;gate have sentimental aspects to it. as for snk, i thought the plot kept up pretty well for the second half, so i didn't really have a problem with it. strangely enough though, i haven't seen snk more than once, even though i've rewatched other animes already. maybe if i rewatch snk, i'll reevaluate my score. :O

Haha, really? SNK was my first anime and I really loved it. I compared it to the other anime that I watched and I thought it was still really good so I guess that's why I gave it a 10. xD I rated Anohana a little lower because I'm not super into a pure romance plot, but it was stilll good because it touched me. And Steins;gate was just really amazing and I love sci fi stuff like that, especially since the plot all came together, haha.
