It is an interesting thing, to assign a number to an experience; a whole number between one and ten that supposedly conveys what that experience was all about. Sometimes the people that demand this of you try and help, putting words next to these numbers, such as “Masterpiece,” “Great,” and “Very Bad.” But in the end these small, small words do not go very far. And I can tolerate assigning a mere number to the whole of an experience only so many times a year. Thus a review is attempted every now and then. Usually before the anime has finished, unfortunately.

I actually liked Kotonoha no Niwa so...awkwarddd lol

Or maybe you meant Psychic School Wars? I still hate that movie.
And yeah, Kotonoha no Niwa is real gorgeous, but the plot line does feel lacking by the second and third watch.

That Koe no Katachi review really made me feel the true nature of the manga, and how It connects to the reader, specially the ones who have been on a similar situation, you made the feels run through each world. A truly great review.

I am glad that you enjoyed the review and even more thrilled that you enjoyed Nerawareta Gakeun. I appreciate your feedback as I don't often write reviews since I feel that there is usually someone who provides a just review. However, after finishing watching Nerawareta Gakuen, I was appalled to find that the anime-watching community here had reviewed it so poorly with such little thought and effort. I respect the preferences and opinions of others, but felt that somehow the more nuanced message of Nerawareta Gakuen was overlooked by viewers. As you keenly stated, much is probably and unfortunately lost in the translation and cultural differences, but all the same I am overjoyed to find that there are at least a few people who enjoyed it.

A great review on Sakurasou. I really liked your perspective on it and how you've put my understanding of how the anime is playing out so well, into much better words. " .. though he’s supposed to be the only one with his head screwed on straight in Sakurasou, he’s the only one who isn’t giving his all towards something important." was a great way to put the subtle complexities of Sakurasou and Sakurasou's subtle challenge of what is considered 'normal' from different perspectives. Despite my hatred for early reviews, I must say you've turned the tables so that I might actually keep an eye out for early reviews as in depth as yours. I'll definitely be watching for your reviews. Keep it up! ~

Classic as in a more sophisticated way of mystery and lighthearted in the typical school life setting as opposed to a dark city, organizations, etc.

Ya, I did move on though as I finished the series about 2 weeks ago and gave it a final score of 8/10. The overall series was pretty good imo.

I just finished season 1 and am 2 episodes in to season two. Definitely a favorite :)

Saw your review of kimi to boku and really liked it. I'm on episode 3 and had decided to keep watching but wasn't sure how I felt about it yet because of the characters but I saw lots of potential and room for growth in them and your review reassured me of my decision :)
Good list of favorites too; Cloud and Ed are favorites of mine too along with Pandora Hearts and FMA: Brotherhood, Bakemonogatari too.
