Very recently updated this profile with the anime I remember watching all my life.
2023 I've been getting really into anime again; I watch on a daily basis, both new and old, while exercising on my treadmill or while eating :)

I rate anime and games out of 5 (so when I rate something 8/10 I really mean 4/5.)

5/5 to me isn't a "masterpiece" but something perfect for me and me alone. Personal favorites. They have a fundamental meaning to me as a anime fan, some anime like Gurren Lagann meaning a lot to me on a personal level.

4/5 to me is something I would highly recommend to people, or scratches that personal itch. Not without problems, but something I'd rave over.

3/5 to me is something I would somewhat recommend. Not bad but not something to write home about. Might not be super-flawed but just didn't vibe with as much as my 4/5's.

2/5 to me is something I would only conditionally recommend. I thought it had redeeming qualities but wouldn't suggest it, or I found it boring.

1/5 to me is something I believe is plain terrible no matter who's watching. I almost never rate anime this low because I am very picky and wait before jumping into stuff, and oftentimes I just drop the show in 3 episodes and choose not to rate it. But sometimes I stick through, hoping it gets good. But it doesn't.

No shows deserve 0/5.
I love anime. I have massive respect for the creators. I watch anime with the pretense of enjoying myself before anything else.
