Long time, no see!
So, how are things at your end? And how was the Eva experience (though it's a little obvious from your list of favorites)...
Watched anything interesting recently?
I finally have some time to myself so I'm going through a lot of anime I normally wouldn't give a second glance to. Started with Nabari no Ou yesterday. So far so good.
Huh, you were right. Never thought I'd see someone with 80+ compatibility. Minus point for liking Goku (or anything DBZ related) though. :P
Any reason you didn't like Higurashi as much? Nanoha I can kind of understand relatively lower score, but Higurashi I thought was pretty good all in all, and it is one of my main recommendation for people new to anime (a la frozzzen).
Oh, and you're obligated to reply on frozzzen's wall, since I don't like opening my page for comments. *hide*
well some people have different opinions on whether episodes or things matter alot, but i tend to try to watch everything in order its released and what not because i dont want to miss anything.
Ah, i don`t take it personally at all, and i think it is up to you how much you want to share Online. i Rather like your method compared to unfolding every aspect of once life through facebook :P
You should definitely watch all the original episodes first. Then you can watch the End of Evangelion movie. The 2 new movies that are out so far are definitely alot different, especially the second one. They are really great even though they are so different so i would definitely watch them again. The last 2 episodes of NGE are important even though the movie kinda shows it in a different way. At first, it wont seem too complicated but it can become overwhelming to think about towards the very end.
That was actually how i did it now, browsed the top 300 or so, and found a lot of what i watched.
I guess the once i forgotten now, was so bad i just blocked them out.
I know i seen some really bad Anime.
Though, now i tend to be critical, if it is meh after 1-3 episodes, it dont bother.
I have a simple rule, as long as i enjoy it, it is worth doing.
If was only the result but not process, it would not be worth it.
In the same way you could say that focusing on Anime in general might be worthless, because one day the interest might fade completely, and what was once amazing just seems distance. ;P
Ah, cool.
Well, to repeat myself, i am impressed by your way with words.
Can`t actually remember the last time i thought that, so i guess that is why i might blow it out of proportion.
It is not my native either, what is your native?
Mine is Norwegian.
i will learn yours, if you learn mine ;D
Ah, my profile was blank until 3 days ago, so right now i am filling in a lot info.
Can`t seem to remember everything i seen though, but it comes in bits and pieces.
In general i adore lists, you can never go wrong with lists.
I am not one of those people who random fav and ad anything though.
Just out of Q, how old are you?
I kind of hate you, well, not really, but until i started writing with you i felt i had a good grasp on the English vocabulary, but your way of shaping sentences makes mine seem like kinder garden English.
Ah, i devour every tea, but not black, to much caffeine.
White, red, green are brilliant.
mhm, that is a very interesting way to look at it.
just don`t be one of those people who feel that you have to sell all your possessions and live in a cave, because the combination material things and bliss is not compatible.
;P
I meet those, they don`t seem very happy at all, more possessed.
You are interesting guy..girl? Not sure, i honestly did not pay attention, did not feel it mattered.
I think it is a golden balance in it all.
Partially letting go, or selective letting go, can do the trick.
I find that imaging myself in the future, and looking back, makes it easy to let go of certain disturbing elements and thoughts, that overall, really does not matter in the long run.
While it is not a goal as much as a state, building up a strong wall, without closing in the heart and the eyes, is something that takes time, based on my life experience that is.
For me, the best way of reaching my Zen state is simply to be completely honest with myself, if you are, it should not matter if the world turns against you.
Easy said though.
wow, this turned hardcore. i need Tea and cookie.
*goes to make tea*
you don`t get milk in it, thats blasphemy on the highest level possible.
Hi again!
Since you mentioned it the other day, I thought I'd just tell you: I've just finished Gurren Lagann.
I must admit I was rather apprehensive about watching it, since I don't usually like very loud series, but this, I really enjoyed. (It's practically nothing like Eva - way more light-hearted, yet serious at the same time...)
Hope all's well at your end...

*waves fist and makes sounds*
Nah, i can`t get mad ;D
Ah, wikipedia is our friend, for sure.
*tries to list 4 episodes* hmm..not easy!
I have to give it some thought.
Or maybe just re-watch the show!
Personally i quit drinking and smoking a couple of years ago, just did not see the benefit.
Id rather get wasted on Tea and K-ON!
Do you have a a favorite Mushishi episode?
White, red, green are brilliant.
