My thoughts on Winter 2018 anime: "And odd set of good, bad, and ugly. At least Takagi-san is here to keep me laughing."
Still got no time to fix all those ratings or write reviews for my shows, but here's my recommendation for some great anime and manga I have personally watched/read:
New to anime choices?
Angel Beats | Ansatsu Kyoushitsu | Boku no Hero Academia | Code Geass | Log Horizon
FullMetal Alchemist Brotherhood - In English Dub because the CV are astonashly amazing to me. (Until I watch Cowboy Bebop)
Best "Feels" drama:
Angel Beats | Clannad | Plastic Memories | Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu
Koe no Katachi - the manga's superior, but the movie hit it well with the director's take.
Best Comedy = Randomness animation:
Joukamachi no Dandelion | Karakai Jouzu no Takagi-san | Konosuba | Nichijou
Ero-manga Sensei - "Anime is trash, and so am I."
Best "Sleepy" comedy & slice of life:
Flying Witch | Shoujo Shuumatsu Ryokou | Tanaka-kun wa itsumo kedaruge | Yuru Camp△
Aria the Animation - The manga is great as well, but this is one of my favourite sleepy slice of life.
Best "Idol" anime:
AKB0048 | iDOLM@STER
Both are superior to Love Live, especially iDOLM@STER
Best "Fate":
Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya - 3rei!! because I love those last 3 episodes. Otherwise Zwei Herz is incredible.
Best Sci-Fi genre:
Ghost in the Shell Stand Alone Complex | Steins;Gate
Best Magical Girl:
Cardcaptor Sakura | Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya | Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica | Mahou Shoujo Ikusei Keikaku
Fate/kaleid liner Prisma☆Illya - Miyu is best girl.
Best plot:
Koe no Katachi | Psycho-Pass | Shouwa Genroku Rakugo Shinjuu
Kubikiri Cycle - The genius that made this light novel (yes, I haven't watched the Shaft anime yet) should be appreciated. Nisioisin's works are amazing, and this was my first light novel I've read in my life. If you want something very abstract, full of contradictions and self-narration of one's thought process, along with unraveling a mystery, this series is a worth to read.
Low-Key but damn Worthy Mentions:
Planetarian: Chiisana Hoshi no Yume - Not gonna lie, but the speed this anime ova went made me cry in 2 hours. That's the fastest time Yuuichi Suzumoto (not Jun Maeda who's also from Key Visual Arts) needs to make people cry. It's a simple story and inevitability, but the feelings were strongly embedded if you let the anime carry you through.
Tsurezure Children - A great short anime about couples, to-be couples, and childhood friend couples who didn't realized they were dating for 2 years.
Denpa Kyoushi - I've re-read this manga 3 times now, but I always enjoy how Junichirou can bring up the most absurd, Mary Sue ish, or ridiculous (and funny) ideas all the time. Traps included.
Sora no Otoshimono - Legendary for an ending to me. Peace and Quiet was Tomoki's Status quo, and of course the anime is anything but peace and quiet. Funny, hilarious at times, and decent amount of ecchi. Almost like To Love-Ru.
Black Lagoon - It's not dark enough, but the English Dub and swearing makes this show sings like Hells Angels roaring down the highway.
Gochuumon wa Usagi Desu ka? - If you haven't realized, but this is my favourite Loli show.
Eve no Jikan - Not an anime for younger audience as it is a tad dry and slow, but the emotional aspect and morales was intriguing and worth watching.
Ao no Kanata no Four Rhythm - When this anime aired, I had so much fun watching baka Asuka get stronger. An anime where flying is cool, and letting your spirit guide you.
Shokugeki no Souma - Ridiculous sexualization, and a fun cast of characters. Food PORN essentially. Best scenes are Megumi vs Shinomiya and Souma vs Nakiri Family (CH 186)
Ikoku Meiro no Croisée The Animation - A truly well-crafted and soothing anime about a young Japanese girl traveling to late 19th Century Paris.
Re:Creators - an anime that has almost encapsulated all of the meta-anime themes and tropes. Great if you're a Neptunia game fan who loves anime-references.
If you want me to be your friend, give a nice 100 word answer to why one of this season's anime is the best anime of the season. (Shit reasons are allowed)
Otherwise, thank you for checking me out.

Note to self; Need to watch more to add "Best 3D", "Best Idol Anime" and "Best Video Game Genre".
Note to self again; Stop using "Best".

So you're watching Gintama that's great.
Well let me give you an advice.
Just for the information.
The first Episodes and the following first Episodes can be quite average.
I know that it can be for many people. So maybe for you as well.
But it will improve a lot afterwards.
So I hope you will keep on watching Gintama
CHECK OUT MY PROFILE TOO! LOOK FORWARD TO HEARING FROM YOU!!
愛しています!!!!
SINCERELY, CoWbOy BooOooOoooOOOOOOoOOoO YaHahHahHAHhHhah
The only thing I see rivaling that is Seikaisuru Kado. I'm not the biggest anti-CGI person but I don't also look forward to it.
So if that is to Challenge Haine the politics/negotiation aspect of the show needs to be top class.
He is a subtle comedic guy. He has a chibi form. The Princes around him help increase his likability.
He is a likable asshole to watch but they seem to want to form soft spots with the audience with him.
I tend to like to start a conversation with everyone I invite instead of just giving you a random invite.
Who is your favorite character from this season?
I'm not fond of the caracters but I don't dislike them either, so I wasn't so much hooked by this serie. Anyway, I now wanna know what's gonna happen. :D
This season got some average show but there was quite "a lot" of others that I liked. (Erased, DW, KonoSuba, Dagashi Kashi, Grimgar...)
Was wondering what made you give Ao no Kanata a full mark? :3
(And nice avatar! :D)
