Because idiots don't get colds. At least otakus don't. xD
I prefer mangas over anime. Sorry, it's just personal preference.
What do I like in mangas or animes:
1. Romance: I like the sweet romance, of like childhood friends, or a love triangle (b-g-b). I don't like ones where there is practically no development and then bam! They're together. Love isn't like that in reality...right?
2. Humor: I'm the type of person who'd laugh like crazy at a single joke. The funniest I've red are Ouran HSHC, Fairy Tail and Lovely Complex.
3. Magic. Because don't we all wish we could fly or breath fire?
4. Friendship: I really like mangas that show deep value in friendship. Friendship is like a bridge between strangers and love.
5. Angels and demons: 'nuff said.
6. Animallike people: Especially cats and wolves!
What I do not like:
1. Ecchi. Please, I'm a girl, so I don't find those really all that appealing.
2. Yaoi: I have nothing saying anything about same-sex love, but I just find it pretty awkward. If there's love involved, I prefer boy and girl.
3. Bloody gore: sorry, I can't do horror. I still have nightmares of something horror I accidentally saw the trailer on when I was 5.
4. Time travelling: If a story is on modern times, please keep it at modern times. I don't mind historical stories, but I hate time jumping.
5. Things that are way too stereotypical and predictable: My favorites are ones where you think something happens, then something else happens, then something else, then..
6. Mysteries: for some reason I can't take suspense.
7. Mean main characters: really, would reading about the life of a totally obnoxious dude be all that fun?
8. Sci-fi: I don't like robots. In life I barely care about the latest technology.
9. Fan service: sorry, but I don't get how falling in love with an anime dude and seeing him naked makes you happy.
10. Characters that are too unrealistic: especially ones with a perfect life and is never depressed.
11. People who hold too much power: I don't think you like them either.
12. Characters that are weaklings: well, I get it if there's something depressing. But what I don't like are characters that are often crying. Like in ever chapter.
13. Women who are like men, and vice versa: I really can't enjoy something with a dominant woman and a sissy guy.
14. Too big eyes: please keep eyes in proportion. I only like a few where the eyes are pretty huge, and those have a good story line. (Pita-Ten and Kitchen Princess)
15. Forbidden love: I mean like between siblings or related people.
