Hello! Guys it's David, who's back from a long hiatus :)
I have been watching anime for a time now but I don't use the site here as often
I would like to have some help with animes I might like thank you :)
Bio:
I watched a lot of anime as child in Portugal. Mainly as a young kid, I had tapes and DVDs of shows like Anne of Green Gables, Chibi Maruko, Heidi of the Alps, Macross... And when I got older, we got Animax there and I discover Ergo Proxy, Black Lagoon, Death Note, Mazinger Z, Detective Conan, and others.
In 2013, my family and I moved from Portugal to Memphis and they still live there today. Last year, in 2016 of March, I moved by myself to Oregon for a job offer here. I quit job as a technician after a work related accident. I now have part-time job and spend time watch anime full-time.
Every anime I have started before I turned 13: link

It has various problems, overuse of flashbacks, misplacement of music, annoying comedic relief characters, and etc, yet it still remains an overall great series. It has easily one of the greatest female protagonists in the medium, with massive character development across multiple time skips. The series is far more than a simple bildungsroman, and I take it that you haven't noticed all the "contradictions" it's trying to play upon yet. Might be slow, but 14 episodes in, Lilan hasn't even been introduced.
I haven't been enjoying myself too much lately, but I still have a few shows I'm watching and somewhat enjoying. Urusei Yatsura is one that has been occupying me lately, fun and beautifully constructed show! You should give it a chance sometime :)
Oh, you finished Karekano! What did you think about it? Personally, it's one of my all-time favorites that I always keep thinking about despite losing interest in anime.

Do you mean the layout or the actual list? I haven't finished rating things.
I wrote an analysis on it if you have.
