I live in Japan and I love anime and manga. I have seen over 80 anime series and have plenty more piling up. I tend to like manga over anime for story purposes, but enjoy the anime as they can better portray action and key plot points.
I don't enjoy anime where a majority of the series is random and pointless with little to zero main plot advancement.
I absolutely despise English dubs as they can make a good anime unwatchable(One Piece for example). Now when it comes to something like an American made cartoon or video game English dubs are fine, the voices fit well and the flow is very natural. For some reason, when they do a Japanese anime English VA's can't act to save their lives. Their voices seem forced and most of the time they do not fit the character.
I dislike a few anime, but the 3 listed below are the worst anime I have ever seen.
1. Amaenaide yo! (Cool concept, horrible execution and way too much pointless filler)
2. Love Hina (Romance/Harem anime are my fave, but this one is boring and pointless)
3. Negima! (I absolutely love the manga, but the anime is just plain terrible)
