Personal Motto
Looking! The blitz loop this planet to search way. Only my Railgun can shoot it!
Ratings
I rate using some combination (not necessarily of equal parts) of enjoyment, technical delivery (art, sound, animation), characters (including design and voice acting), and story. Ratings correspond to the descriptions found below (expanded from MAL's written descriptions).
10. Masterpiece (Highly enjoyable, technically brilliant, unusually creative, has something for everyone, stands up to multiple re-watch/read.)
9. Great (Very enjoyable, could recommend to anyone, would definitely re-watch/read.)
8. Very good (Rather enjoyable, could recommend to most anyone, would consider re-watch/read.)
7. Good (Enjoyable, recommendable, re-watchable/readable.)
6. Fine (Above average, some entertainment value, unlikely to re-watch/re-read.)
5. Average (Mediocre, run-of-the-mill, not very enjoyable, would not watch/read again.)
4. Bad (Unenjoyable, uninteresting, or annoying, likely with flaws or gimmicks.)
3. Very Bad (Detestable, pandering, unlikeable with abundant technical flaws or stupid gimmicks.)
2. Horrible (Repulsive and insultingly bad.)
1. Appalling (Just no.)
I do not have quotas or fit to a curve when rating.
Movies don't really fit on this scale the same way as shows/series, unless they're related to a show/series, so a Ghibli movie rated at 8/10 doesn't really compare to a TV series rated at 8/10, but the Steins;Gate movie rating is comparable to the Steins;Gate series rating.

How is Katanagari?
I even checked out this book from the library. The poems are so pretty!

Apparently both my Japanese professor and my TA had played Karuta when I asked them about it
