With that said, what do you love most about Roy Mustang?

As for Japanese, the hardest part about it are those particles. More complicated with more inconsistent grammatical function than their Southern Min counterparts. Japanese has at least ten particles that no one seems to use anymore. I know nothing about Korean so I don't know what its particles are like. What I do know is that Koreans use Chinese characters for historical reference.

Looking at Japanese particles and seeing other countries use Chinese characters at least eases my mind about kanji.

As you can see, I don't do hardcore gaming, but when I see an amazingly profilic seiyuu in the cast, that's when I grab a control (not always in a literal way) or start emulating.

Would be nice to see Miyuki Sawashiro read more of Quistis' lines from the original script while acting. Even though that redheaded babe of a character doesn't have that much dialogue. I simply adore her Velvet voice and Mamiko Noto's Mercedes voice was about as endearing.

Yes, both Mamiko Noto (one of the reasons why I love Solty Rei and Valkyria Chronicles) and Miyuki Sawashiro were featured in the Linebarrels of Iron cast in 2008. A year after Odin Sphere came to the west. Both the Kurogane no Linebarrel anime and manga were OK. Still disappointed in that rushed manga ending though.

Anyway milady, I have to go back to reading more manga.

With emulation being the hot new thing for decades, there's no need for consoles which are mostly copycat PCs. Everyone knows that most of Japan has gone totally mobile. To them, home consoles are so five minutes ago. They prefer phones or tablets. The Japanese also love the Switch which is technically a tablet.

I'm actually taking a break from video games so I can focus on the 2013 sequel of Silent Möbius. Watching the protagonist Katsumi and her squad of futuristic exorcists being 17 years older. Yuki Saiko, the real young psychic exorcist, would be about my age after 17 years.

I remember spending too much time trying to decipher some messy kanji in volume one of said prequel.

Grandia is a forgotten, old JRPG that has the best combat system ever, a very original storyline or great overall fun. You can easily emulate (or bootleg) the supreme Saturn version on your phone or Android device anytime. It's also got Aya Hisakawa and Kikuko Inoue in the cast, aka, the Ah! My Goddess ladies.

Considering the fact that I replayed Wild Arms 2 (re-watched Twilight Venom dubbed after seeing the credits and post-credits roll), I say that western (neo-western and space western included) and steampunk are my favorite genres. I do take doses of sci-fi and other genres as part of my Jack of all trades training.

He's a party member that you'll get later in Grandia when a bunch of people got petrified, definitely on your side when a damsel in distress is in need of getting rescued. Yes, she was kidnapped in a giant ship.

The English translation suggests that Rapp has an Australian accent and he also likes to throw boomerangs like one. xD

Ah yes! I loved Miyuki Sawashiro and Ayasumi's performances in the Odin Sphere. They were both amazing.

I once knew an Italian tomboy with a birthday practically next door to yours. She used to tell me how much she loved sports manga, Ghost in the Shell, Evangelion and Kare Kano.

As for Japanese, I made some progress since I replayed Wild Arms 2 (Japanese). The Sony translation didn't tell everything that I need to know about Ashley, Kanon and Brad's (he wasn't gay at all, just some yaoi shippers putting words into Akifumi Kaneko's mouth because their Japanese suck) backstories because of how bad it was, but at least I picked up more vocabulary.

I really get back to reading Silent Möbius QD.

ごきげんよう、貴婦人!

Have you been studying Japanese too and what do you think of Grandia?

I bet you like the fact that Kappei Yamaguchi did both Rapp and Usopp in the late 90s.
