Yeah, underrated anime ftw!! Actually, that friend of hers and the guy that came with them were anime-only characters. They're added in the anime for Youko's character development or something...now you know why she's so annoying XD I think I've read about he went missing as well, probably when Tai went into chaos...

If I'm not mistaken, the novels are still ongoing, it's currently at vol 6 and last published in 2001. I stalked around for info a few years ago, so I forgot the details and why she went on hiatus, but the author was interviewed 2 years ago, and she said someday she would like to continue working on JK. I hope this 'someday' won't be like, say, 10 years later...or never XO She's currently working on another series called Ghost Hunt, have you heard of it? It's a supernatural/horror series, really good as well.

Hahaha, it's like you read my mind XD That's my favorite arc too!! Apart from what you mentioned (I watched that scene over and over too), I love the part when she got angry at her army, saying, 'Which Empress ordered you to do that?", or something like that, that was a great moment. I also love the Taiki arc, especially when he tamed that beast in the cave, using his powers for the 1st time, and when he transformed into a kirin, he was so beautiful *-*

Hmm, I think it's because she's tall and well-built...I think she's pretty though ^^ I also noticed that some of the kirin seemed to be similar to their emperor/empress, like:
Youko/Keiki - the good looking, serious type
En Ou/Enki - carefree and playful type. I love the names for the three ministers, lol
And I forgot what kingdom they're from, but the old empress and her blond kirin are the really kind type.
I quite like Youko x Keiki pairing, too bad any sort of relationship was forbidden ^^; Do you like any pairing from the series?

Btw, you like the slice of life genre right? Have you heard of a series called Aria? I marathoned the entire series recently, and love it so much that I put it as my no.1 anime right now~ bumping JK down to no. 2 ;-; If you haven't watch it, you should give it a try, I'm sure you'll like it too =D

Hey!, it's ok.. i am also sorry for replying late lol, been busy for the past 2 weeks with exams and stuff..

yup after University is medical school for me, hopefully if i can make it till there lol!..

actually the main thing isn't taking courses in the summer, it's the classes that you take that count, some are worth more credits than others, so if its a 3 credit hour class (ex. biology or English) and you get good grades in it then it will bring your GPA up!...
as for your second statement, it depends on how many classes you take, not may people take ONLY one, they usually take from 2 to 4 classes (the reason people even take the summer session is because their either behind on credits or don't have time to take 6 or more classes during the fall and winter term).. lol i know what you mean, i hate to think that i'll be wasting my summer every time, but hey I'd rather get done with college in 2 years than 3 ^_^

Actually we're not going anymore lol, the prices are really high this summer and my dad is like theres no point of going and wasting all that money for only a month (plus i have to catch up on my credits).. but maybe towards the end of July we might go to Houston XD

well actually that day i was tired cuz i had to wake up at 6 for my morning class but i'm wide awake practically every day lol even though i sleep around 1 or 2.. as for mangas, i only choose the ones that i think will be interesting and it doesn't matter if i'm tired or not i love them anyways and the thing which bothers me at times is that they are soo good that i don't feel like sleeping at all and that is when i pull an all nighter hehe.. (all of the mangas in my list were great in their own way, non were boring!)

oh you mean the kimonas.. yup i want one too but they're actually different types, the one i want is the silk tight Chinese one ( i hope you know what i'm talking about) or maybe its just a dress not a kimona o.0 now i'm confused lol..

I hate debate too~ and i am really bad at creative thinking, so everytime when there is a debate take place during class( mostly english class), i am the one who normally sit there and say nothing.........( well, it makes me feel bad, i want to help out too~, but i just couldn't think of anything to say ...)

I used to think that only guys like hentai too~ but ....there was once time, i sent out an invitation to a member( since our manga compatibility is high, and she is a girl too~) and guess what! she denied the invitation, and she told me that she loves hentai so that's the main reason she shouldn't join my club.....I was actually quite surprise .....(um....very interesting~huh?!^__^;) but don't get wrong, i don't dislike people who like hentai, i just dislike the idea of hentai.....have you ever watch hentai?( i am just being curious ^__^;)

me too~ i don't really like Augus at the begining too, but after i found out his past, i start to feel bad for him( sleeping with an old lady @0@..well not old old but still....), and understand why he acts the way he is now.

i agree, the art of Ingenuo is not that great, and the begining is kind of slow too~, but it get better as the story progresses.

so have you decide whether you are going to take some summer courses or not?

I heard of BXB brother. I was looking for some Ukyou Ayane's other work after i finished reading DC since i really loved it. then i came across with BXB brother,however, the summary was not that appeal to me so i never feel like reading it ( well, it sounds like just one of those typical cheesy shoujo romance...)

um...well, i am a newbie in janimes so i don't know much about this site ...have she( the creator of janimes...i just can't remeber her name) ever pick up a project again after she set it as an "inactive project" and use "no scan available" as a reason? i just feel that if she really want to work on a series, then she can just import/ buy the RAW....l mean, she bought Love at first sight manhaw so why can't she buy the raw for those so-called inactive project....i think she just not that interested in working on those project(ie. princess,Seol Hui) what do you think? well, i am just guessing though, and don't get it wrong, i like Janimes since the creator seems to work so hard for the project, and has release out almost everyday.

haha, it reminds me of the anime, Kamikaze Kaitou Jeanne,that i watched when i was young. there was ribbon flying everywhere each time when the female lead transformed.

wow~another thing that we have in common @0@ i feel that way too~ to be honest with you, i don't understand why her work is so popular ?????? I read Shinshi Doumei Cross, and i don't like it at all!

I'm reading Akaku Saku Koe right now. I like that the romance in the manga is more apparent, it's worth reading just because the main guy & girl are so cute together ^^

Just so you know, I like hetero pairings only =D Surprisingly, apart form the yaoi fangirls, there are guys that voted for Tanuma o.O they probably did for the lulz. But then, the poll was open way before Taki was introduced in the anime, and you can't re-vote...she's catching up with the votes though~

Yay, another JK fan X3 the anime is so underrated, I never get to talk about it with anyone. I almost dropped it too, since during the first few episodes, Youko was so emo I can't stand it -.- and her friend was even worst, I really want to b-slap (censoring the cursing, lol) her. Glad I kept watching, since it become one of my all-time fav ^.^

About the canceled episodes, originally, the anime studio planned to wait until they have more novel materials, but the author got sick and the novel was put on hiatus (still is, I think) so they couldn't continue the anime T-T

I'm watching Eden of the East as well! I think it's gotta be the best show this season! The reason it reminds you of Honey and Clover is cos the same artist designed both XD
