I leave for boot camp in March. I do this in my free time.
If you look at my list and are trying to understand my scores, then look no further. When I choose a score, I just select based off of how much I liked it. Anything above a five, I enjoyed. Generally when I finish a show, I think of its best moments and its worst moments, and choose a rating based off of those. Because that is the case, I often rate the shows' moments and average according to what I thought of those. It is probably unconventional, and because that is the case, my average is fairly high. That is true for two reasons- even if something is overdone, I still enjoy it. Because of how I help make my averages, I generally get caught in between scores and end up taking the higher score.
I like basically every genre. I like romance in my shows, but it isn't necessary for a good show by any means. I love space-bound shows a lot too. I love, love, love supernatural shows. (The ones that are more like XXXholic that is to say; mysterious and cool I guess I'd say.)
Lastly, I've been watching anime for as long as I can remember. Even though I have a list, I only signed up recently and have mostly put up shows that I've seen since then. When I turned eleven, I had free reign over a computer, and anime was all I ever did. Even if a show isn't on my list, I may have seen it. I've been rewatching and re-rating shows mostly because I don't want to make a selection based off of nostalgia goggles. I only read manga when I was younger (early elementary school) though and I can't seem to get into it anymore, so it is unlikely that I'll rate many of those..
if you have any questions or interests about me, the military (I am a pretty good consultant because I have been planning to join for a long time and now have amassed knowledge related to all U.S. Branches) anime, or anything else that comes to your mind, feel free to ask.
